It would be a lot less embarrassing for the female fencers from The Astyanax if they had been wearing any undergarments under their skimpy outfits.

But then again, it was the female enemies' fault for not wearing any underwear under their skimpy costumes.

Up In Flames


Please avoid running or jumping into campfires. Getting burnt alive is not funny when your clothes get burnt up.

You have to give Hudson Soft credit for censoring private parts by making Master Higgins cover them when he gets burnt by a campfire. Especially when indecent exposure in video games can get any game designer into trouble with customers and game software rating organisations.

The Virtual Boy Nightmare


Remember, if you do not want to have nightmare-like hallucinations, especially those reminiscent of the Virtual Boy's terrible black-and-red visuals, stay hydrated, and do not drink seawater, because seawater causes dehydration, and side effects of dehydration include hallucinations.

Even Cartoon Network can prove that the Virtual Boy had terrible graphics and visuals, which were the possible reasons for the Virtual Boy being a commercial failure, and therefore, the stuff of nightmares.

Rise of the Eastern European Famiclones


You should give the Famiclone manufacturers credit for introducing video games that Eastern Europe had never heard of in the mid-1980s to that region. Especially when the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was never introduced in Russia, Poland or any Eastern European country. So much for the Cold War and the Iron Curtain.

Nichitsu's Forgotten Consoles and Computers


A sad fate for these great gaming consoles and computers...

Nobody knows if the abandoned consoles and computers left behind in Nichitsu belonged to the last group of people who left the town for the last time or people who came to the ghost town and stayed there for a while.

Perhaps somebody will claim these retro treasures and give them a new home.
