Programmable Character Generator

There was a port of Pac-Man for the Sharp MZ-700. Its graphics were very blocky due to the Sharp MZ-700 not having a graphics processor. However, if an external Programmable Character Generator chip was installed to the PC, the graphics will appear more accurate to the original arcade game. It's a similar case with the MZ-700 port of Mappy. The characters and objects in the game were comprised of letters, numbers and basic shapes due to the MZ-700's lack of a graphics processor. The graphics would end up looking similar to the MSX version of Mappy if an external Programmable Character Generator chip was installed to the PC. In other words, the PCG board works wonders when it comes to making Sharp MZ-700 games appear similar to arcade or MSX games.

Arcade Letter S Variations

When the 8-Bit Arcade Font was conceived, many variations with different versions of various alphabet letters were conceived. One of the most notable variation differences was the letter S, in which there are two variations of the 8-Bit Arcade letter S in Rally-X. The letter S that distinguishes the Special Flag from the other yellow flags in Rally-X is uncommon in video games that use the 8-Bit Arcade Font. It is, however, the correct way to write the 8-Bit Arcade version of the letter S.

Namco X Gundam

With the release of the Gundam Breaker 4 Pac-Man Collaboration Update, it would make more sense for Bandai Namco characters to become Gundam pilots. There are many Namco characters who would make great Gundam pilots, but Pac-Man, Klonoa and Steve Fox are probably the only Namco characters who are eligible to become Gundam pilots.

Then again, if Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 can have Lars Alexandersson from Tekken as a playable character, I don't see any reason why the Gundam series games do not include Steve Fox from Tekken as a possible Gundam pilot.
