Legitimizing Preservation


Audio cassette tapes, VHS tapes and floppy disks were destined to become obsolete, and when they do, the risk of whatever content they contain are in danger of being lost forever. That's why preservation of old media should be legitimized, because anyone who does not learn from the dark parts of history are doomed to repeat it.

Remembering Shelley Duvall


Sad News, folks. Shelley Duvall has passed away at the age of 75. She will be best remembered for freaking out in that one infamous scene from the horror film "The Shining", where Jack Nicholson's character yelled "Here's Johnny!" after he slashed a door with an axe. Other than that, Shelley Duvall will be best remembered for Faerie Tale Theatre and Shelley Duvall's Bedtime Stories, both of which have been part of our childhoods during the glory days of VCRs and VHS tapes.

Sad as it is, as we grow older, our childhoods start to die out as time goes by...
