Taegeuk Amulet

Remember that comic where Ash Ketchum's original nemesis Gary Oak was stabbed by fascist and communist bayonets? What if it turns out that Gary Oak's Taegeuk amulet was originally supposed to be red and blue? If that is true, then it's possible that the Pokemon TV series production team could have changed it to yellow and green to avoid getting into trouble with South Korea.

The Sega-Samsung Partnership

Did you know that Sega had to circumvent an anti-Japanese embargo imposed by South Korea? That's right. To circumvent the embargo, Sega had to outsource production of their Master System, Mega Drive/Genesis and Saturn consoles in South Korea to Samsung. The same can be said with Nintendo, who had to outsource production of the NES, SNES, N64 and Game Boy to South Korean automaker Hyundai just to bypass the embargo.

At The Mercy Of Tribulation

Even Mr Krabs and Patrick know that the Great Tribulation will be a very depressing time that is drawing near because they are going to perish during the Day of the Lord just like the sea creatures that died in the trumpet and bowl judgments.

According to the Trumpet magazine, the Western Hemisphere will come under the tyranny of the Abomination of Desolation that is prophesied to burn Jerusalem to the ground while the Eastern Hemisphere will be under the iron grip of rogue dictators that despise democracy. This means South Korea and Taiwan will probably be conquered by autocratic warmongers during the terrible three and a half years of the Great Tribulation. The worst part, however, is when the Abomination of Desolation and the rogue dictators fight against each other before turning their weapons on Christ's Second Coming in a desperate last-ditch attempt to thwart God's Plan to take back the Earth, because if Christ does not cut short the Great Tribulation, no flesh will be saved alive. In other words, this Earth is not God's World until Christ returns.

Natural Sightseeing Sceneries

Why are we fascinated with nice scenery? Maybe it's because of the tranquility.

You do know that the place where Windows XP's Bliss wallpaper comes from is known for being a vineyard. Of course scenery sightseers will like that place. It has always been a historic landmark due to Microsoft's Windows XP.

When it comes to great Italian scenery, olive groves are definitely among them. Just as vineyards are associated with wine, olive groves are associated with olive oil, and Italy is known for having great wine and great olive oil.

For those wondering whether maple trees exist in South Korea, the answer is yes. Maple trees do exist in South Korea. Therefore, MapleStory originating from South Korea makes a lot of sense.

Nothing defines great Japanese scenery like cherry blossoms. The have always been synonymous with springtime in Japan. Maybe that's why Anime likes cherry blossoms a lot.

Pine forests exist all over the Northern parts of the Earth, and Sweden is one of those places. In fact, Swedish pine forests are synonymous with great Swedish scenery, and quite possibly the wooden furniture you can find in IKEA.

With all that said, sightseers should take this opportunity to visit these scenic places before they're gone.

Opinions on Intellectual Property

We should be raging at copyright trolls. They are the real enemy of creativity on the World Wide Web. If I were a lawyer, I would have called for my fellow lawyers to boycott and defund copyright trolls.

If there is anything that will make copyright trolls throw tantrums, it has to be Russia's copyright authorities legitimizing piracy of copyrighted content originating from countries that are unfriendly towards Russia. One of these countries on Russia's unfriendly countries blacklist is South Korea. Would South Korea go ballistic if Russian netizens pirate Crash Landing on You or Squid Game? Probably not. Especially when you are under siege from extremely unfriendly neighbours who possess nuclear weapons...

In contrast, Japanese copyright trolls issuing cease and desists against acts of copyright infringement, regardless of how severe or how minor, will provoke angry responses such as boycotts. Even worse is the possibility that Japan's copyright trolls are being paid to issue cease and desists on behalf of Japan's copyright authorities that Japanese copyright holders have to answer to, and Japan's copyright authorities, like other Japanese government officials do not want Japan's World War 2 war crimes to be made known to the whole world. What's more, these copyright trolls will never tell you that the people that have received the cease and desists are all in violation of Japan's anti-terrorism law. Imagine being a Japanese netizen watching a livestream of a concert from South Korea, and the police arrest you for copyright violations you did not commit. That will prompt netizens from South Korea to scream for the heads of copyright trolls to be on rusty pikes. Whether the copyright trolls are American, British, German or Japanese, if they do not renounce their wicked ways, they will perish just like Shinzo Abe, proving that Romans 6:23 is correct about the wages of sin being death.

However, it does not matter which country the copyright trolls that hate us come from. They are all pawns of a sinister beast power hailing from the same country that started two World Wars. So watch the video below before the copyright trolls issue a cease and desist against The Trumpet Magazine for publishing hate speech against Germany's shadow government.

MapleStory 20th Anniversary

Today is the day MapleStory turns 20. An incredible feat for a South Korean MMORPG that made the impact of South Korea's Hallyu Wave on pop culture huge. It gets even more incredible when MapleStory survived cybercriminal activities and tensions threatening to reignite the Korean Peninsula's (still unfinished) civil war, while giving StarCraft a good run for its money in the South Korean video game market. On top of that, MapleStory made South Korea a serious contender in the video game industry. Let's not forget that its "Safe For Work" classification revitalized PC gaming in Japan when the Japanese version launched in early December 2003. So much for a cutesy MMORPG coming from a South Korean online gaming Chaebol. Happy 20th Anniversary, MapleStory!

Pokemon World Hate Crimes

It's only a matter of time before Nintendo bids farewell to Ash Ketchum. But one big question about his real identity remains...

If Professor Oak's grandsons Blue and Gary having the catchphrase "Smell you later" was any indication who Red and Ash really are, then there really is racism against Zainichi Koreans in the Pokemon World because Zainichi Koreans were often subjected to racist insults such as being called dirty, smelly, lazy and stupid. Such racist insults will be classified as hate crimes, and Professor Oak's grandsons Blue and Gary should be ashamed of committing them. In fact, many Pokemon fans, including myself, would be screaming for their heads to be on pikes for all those years of tormenting Red and Ash.

Unfortunately, there are Zainichi Koreans who are communist sympathizers, and both Japan and South Korea have zero tolerance for communist sympathizers. This results in Zainichi Koreans getting accused of being communist spies. Maybe Blue and Gary are suspicious that Red and Ash are Zainichi Korean communist sympathizers. But this is no excuse for Blue and Gary to humiliate Red and Ash. And yet, almost nobody punishes those who commit such hate crimes against Zainichi Koreans. That's why some Zainichi Koreans became mentally ill.

Then again, Zainichi Koreans were better off not having any justice if it means not letting communism dominate the Earth. Even if Nintendo does not punish Blue and Gary, their bullying will be nothing compared to the damage the communists' "noble causes" have done to entire countries...

Update: The Ash Ketchum Arc has officially ended, and it ended with "Next Time, A New Beginning". It was disappointing that Gary Oak did not get any comeuppance, but the writers chose not to because it will offend Shigeru Miyamoto, and that is even worse...

Justice for Zainichi Koreans

Ever wondered why Professor Oak's grandsons Blue and Gary have "Smell You Later" as their catchphrase? Could it be that Red and Ash were from a Pokemon World region based on the Korean Peninsula?

If you watch episode 18 of Ranking of Kings, we get introduced to Gyakuza, whose people are depicted as poorer and dirtier than the people of Houma. The story of Houma and Gyakuza is believed to be an allegory about the history of Japan and Korea in which Gyakuza is likened to Korea before the Japanese Annexation, and Houma is supposed to be Japan.

What if it turns out Blue and Gary bullying Red and Ash respectively is an allegory about hate crimes against Zainichi Koreans because Koreans were often seen as coming from a lower social status than Japanese people in the lowest possible levels of society? If that is true, then it's no wonder the late Takeshi Shudo proposed a depressing series finale for the Pokemon TV series, where the entire series was all just a dream from a dying, mentally ill Ash Ketchum, because almost no justice is being done against the persecution of Zainichi Koreans, which leads to many of them becoming mentally ill. Even the South Korean Ambassador to Japan is disappointed by this lack of justice for Zainichi Koreans and is often demanding that the Japanese government should stop blackmailing the South Korean government and the South Korean Embassy in Tokyo regarding Zainichi Koreans and Comfort Women. And it doesn't help when the South Korean government barely recognizes the existence of Zainichi Koreans, outside of a few cases. With unwantedness on the same level as Waluigi, it's no wonder many Zainichi Koreans become mentally ill because very few people are willing to lend a helping hand to them...

If it's official that Gary Oak's bullying of Ash Ketchum in the Pokemon Anime is an allegory about hate crimes against Zainichi Koreans, then Gary Oak being the only Nintendo antagonist named after Shigeru Miyamoto is clearly the biggest insult to the Super Mario Bros creator. Thanks a lot, Satoshi Tajiri. Now I'm losing interest in Nintendo and Anime for reasons unrelated to copyright issues...

Uniquely Weird

In the South Korean version of Wii Party, Globe Trot features South Korea, the area circled in red, as the starting space, replacing the Japan Hot Spot in that game mode. Another feature unique to the South Korean version of Wii Party is Spin-Off having stars instead of medals. The changes in Globe Trot are possibly related to the unresolved issues between South Korea and Japan, although the lack of South Korea as a Hot Spot in all the other versions could be the real reason for the map changes, while the changes in Spin-Off are due to a gambling ban in South Korea.

German-made Anti-consumerism

Whoever said that Donald Trump was a bully who wanted German automobiles gone from American roads does not see the big picture about the German automakers' plans to deceive US government environmental agencies. Even South Korea is doing their part to punish German automakers for anti-trust law violations, although the fines slapped against them by the South Korean anti-trust regulators are not harsh enough, owing to the South Korean Won being a weak currency. Such deceitfulness by German businesses, along with Germany's shadow government trolling Ukraine by denying military hardware from arriving in Ukraine, and the suppression of German citizens' freedoms by said shadow government are all unforgivable grievances that need to be judged. Yet nobody is going after Germany's shadow government, but we wish somebody was. Perhaps one day, all the injustices we dislike, including anti-consumer business practices, will be eradicated.

Helping a Just Cause

This is your last chance, Nintendo! Cease all copyright takedowns, or I will boycott you!

Remember the time I sent Nintendo a warning about them getting boycotted? Well, South Korea had already been calling for a boycott of Japanese brands since July 2019, with Nintendo being one of the targets of the boycott. In fact, now is the time for those who feel that Nintendo should be punished for copyright takedowns and employee abuse to start boycotting Nintendo and stand up for those who had been wronged by Nintendo.

Perhaps the woman who told Nintendo salespeople "I hope you fail!" back in 1985 should now be christened as a heroine of freedom, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and justice. Unfortunately, we will never know her real name...

For those who wish to know where the "I'm Doing My Part!" picture came from, it was from the 1997 Starship Troopers film.

Anger Against Injustice

Let's face it. The real reason major Japanese copyright holders want to issue copyright takedowns is because their country's Anti-Terrorism Bill criminalized copyright infringement and multiple minor offences that have almost nothing to do with organized crime. As a result, Japanese netizens have a good reason to be angry with their government over the criminalization of minor offences that have no relation with organized crime and other issues such as the multiple corruption scandals involved in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. In fact, there are people who were against the Olympics even before the pandemic came along and ignited further anti-Olympics sentiment in Japan, and as the pandemic wreaked havoc, the truth about the corruption involved in the Olympics was made known to the whole world.

Exposing the wrongdoings of Japan's armed forces during World War 2 is strictly prohibited in Japan, and Japanese netizens who call the denial of war crimes an act of suppressing freedom of expression are often shunned by the government just because they speak out the truth. Such people who get shunned for telling the truth about Japan's war crimes are also among the Japanese netizens who are angry with their government as well. And this anger gets even worse when an original work of art from two South Korean sculptors was put on display at an art exhibitionin Aichi Prefecture, only to get a cease and desist from people who do not want war crimes to be made known to the whole world. In other words, we are living in the last days of freedom of expression. Only a few people realize that disturbing truth, and they may have realized it too late...

In the name of Justice

Credits to Mediacorp and Channel NewsAsia (CNA) for the image in this comic.

In 2019, Japan restricted high-tech exports to South Korea. This made South Koreans unhappy because South Korean companies Samsung and LG are the main customers of these high-tech exports from Japan. As a result, South Koreans staged a "Boycott Japan" protest, calling for a boycott of Japanese products and Japanese companies. One of those Japanese companies that was targeted by the boycott campaign is Nintendo, who in recent years, has been negatively criticized for their anti-piracy campaign when it comes to intellectual property protection and shutting down fan-made projects for allegedly violating their trademarks and copyrights, resulting in people threatening to boycott them.

So if you want to fight for digital freedom, please share this comic to show your support for victims of oppression during 35 years of imperialist rule.
