Risotto was always a great alternative to pasta and pizza for Italian Restaurants. Nuff said.

Anime was possibly the real reason striped bikinis are so popular in Japan. Change my mind.

Contrary to popular belief, the final battle between good and evil that threatens to end the world as we know it will not take place at Armageddon, but rather, that epic final battle will take place near Jerusalem, or more accurately, near what remains of Jerusalem.

The L6/40 is an Italian World War 2 light tank that is known for being weak in that particular conflict. Therefore, it would be better off being demolished in the Street Fighter 2 car breaker bonus stage.

I'm very sure the Shimabra and the Shimapan were the reasons striped bikinis became one of Anime's most popular two-piece bathing suits.

Skirt Drop

If Arle saw a drowning person at the beach, she would undress herself into her swimwear starting with a skirt drop in order to save the drowning person. This is exactly what happened at the beginning of Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, where Madoka Kyouno saw a drowning person at the beach and undressed herself into her school swimsuit starting with a skirt dro when she had to save the drowning person.

If Arle did the exact same thing, one could imagine what swimies Arle is wearing under her skirt. The first possible choice has to be her two-piece swimsuit from PuyoLympics. It's also possible Arle is wearing a striped bikini. Still, there is a possibility that Arle is wearing a scale mail bikini. Whatever it is, Arle will always undress herself into her swimwear when it comes to saving a drowning person.

Two Panties

Author's Note: The panties in this comic are not panties to begin with. Rather, the panty in the first panel that Arle took off in the middle panel is a buruma, while the panty in the last panel is the bottom part of her two-piece swimsuit. Both of these sports attires come from the Puyo Puyo sports spin-off PuyoLympics.

Groin Kicked

Contrary to popular belief, Sega's rivalry with Nintendo did not cease after Sega exited hardware production as a result of the Dreamcast's discontinuation. Tyris Flare kicking Princess Peach's groin in this comic is proof that Sega's rivalry with Nintendo is still ongoing.

The real reason the female athletics attire was designed to look like swimwear is because it would enhance the athlete's running performance. And if the female athletics attire look like female swimwear, maybe they should be worn for triathlons because swimming is involved in triathlons.

The Weird Side of the Web

The Internet can sometimes be a weird place, and here are just twelve images that define Internet weirdness.

Perhaps Clarice did not want to be seen wearing a bikini in City Connection Rocket, but all of that changed by the time Jaleco Super Tennis was released for Japanese cellphones three years later.

Remembering The Good Times

Who can remember the good times from before 2020? I can. Especially when the first half of the 2010s were happier days due to the Ice Bucket Challenge. Even having a photo-taking session before jumping into a lake brought so much joy back in the days before 2020. After all, girls do like to look good in swimwear before getting wet, whether by jumping off a cliff into a lake or doing the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Ice Bucket Challenge 10th Anniversary Edition

2024 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Ice Bucket Challenge that went viral. Unfortunately, the people who inspired the Challenge, namely Anthony Senerchia Jr, Pete Frates and Pat Quinn, are dead. This means the Ice Bucket Challenge 10th Anniversary Edition will be dedicated to the memory of these three people as well as SpongeBob SquarePants creator Stephen Hillenburg, all of whom have died from ALS-related complications.

For those wondering if the two ladies in this comic are going to wear swimsuits for the Ice Bucket Challenge, the answer is yes. In fact, the swimsuits worn by Peach, Daisy, Rosalina and Samus would be among some of the best choices for the two ladies who want to look good after getting wet in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Swimming Pool Matriarch Visual Gag Variations

Author's Note: This comic was inspired by the Senpai of the Pool meme, which in turn was inspired by the Panzer of the Lake meme.

Ah, yes. Nothing like a visual gag variations comic. It gets even better when combined with existing Internet memes.

You do remember that comic where leotards and lingerie looked similar to female swimwear. Well, it turns out leotards and lingerie did influenced modern female swimwear designs. That's why leotards and lingerie look similar to female swimsuits.

Pulling down anybody's pants or skirt is no longer funny and can get you into trouble with the long arm of the law. Even the bikini top falling off cliche is not funny anymore and some call for wardrobe malfunctions and deliberate underwear exposure to be banned.

Pokemon's Professor Oak was called Professor Okido in the Japanese version. But the Japanese word for Oak is Ooku, not Okido. This means Game Freak had been lying to Pokemon fans all along. Speaking of falsehoods in the Pokemon franchise, did you know that Ash "Satoshi" Ketchum does not have a surname in the Japanese version? The idea of Ash having the surname Ketchum was actually Nintendo of America's idea when they were localizing Pokemon Red and Blue, as well as the Pokemon TV series.

Remember the times when Magical Girls were portrayed as heroines of justice with attitude? Unfortunately, Puella Magi Madoka Magica ruined everything we love about magical girls. Simply put it, Puella Magi Madoka Magica lied about the promotional material, from the beach scenes that they promised in some posters, but was never featured in the TV series at all, to how they expected us to see magical girls as the heroines of justice who fight for what's right. Well, it turns out the magical girls of Puella Magi Madoka Magica were nothing more than pawns in Kyubey's plans to prevent the heat death of the universe. Therefore, Puella Magi Madoka Magica has always been lying to us, and on top of that even more than Game Freak lying to us about the Pokemon series.

Bikini Swimies

Given that bikini bottoms are basically panties designed for swimming, it would make sense for bikini bottoms to be called swimies.

As for the wet panties waterfall meme, it would not be triggered by talking about two-piece swimwear bottoms looking like panties that are designed for swimming.

A Blooper's tentacle touching anybody's bottom is not just an outrage of modesty, it is also an inappropriate act that is considered "Not Safe For Work". Looks like the Blooper that is molesting other people is going to be in big trouble...

Ready For The Ice Buckets

Another comic about wearing swimwear for the Ice Bucket Challenge? Guess swimwear and buckets filled with ice water go hand in hand.

If Arle was to wear a bikini for the Ice Bucket Challenge, she would prefer to wear a striped bikini. After all, striped bikinis are popular in Japanese pop culture, just like the female underwear their color pattern was based on.

Samus isn't the only person who is not afraid to be seen wearing an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka-dot bikini. Princess Daisy is wearing a yellow polka-dot bikini for the Ice Bucket Challenge, meaning she is also not afraid to be seen wearing a yellow polka-dot bikini.

Rosalina saying that her strapless bikini is ready for the Ice Bucket Challenge is another reference to the famous "My Body Is Ready" quote by Reggie Fils-Aime.

Sakura Kinomoto prefers to wear a triathlon bikini because she is not ready for any real fanservice yet as she is still currently in middle school. However, a triathlon bikini does strike a balance between modesty and fanservice. Therefore, she should be fine.

But that's not all. Their bikinis would have no problem getting wet when it comes to doing forehead coin to funnel, because bikinis are designed for getting wet. To quote Princess Kida from Disney's Atlantis when she took off her skirt before going for a swim, "You do swim, do you not?"

A Sensitive Question

Recently, art hosting websites DeviantArt and Pixiv have begun a massive campaign to identify potentially sensitive content, and sometimes the content identification system gets it wrong by erroneously labelling artworks that are obviously "Safe For Work" as having potentially sensitive content. In comparison, stock image hosting websites do not identify images of girls and ladies in leotards, swimsuits and bikinis as images that have potentially sensitive content.

However, underwear exposure from wardrobe malfunctions and pantsing have resulted in hurtful reactions. It gets worse when incidents of gymnasts having bladder leaks happened before, and in such cases, their leotards leaked. It is currently unclear if panties and leotards leaking due to bladder incontinence should be considered wardrobe malfunctions. If that is officially confirmed, then designers really need to design leak-proof gymnastics leotards, just as leak-proof panties and swimwear are designed for countering bladder incontinence.

Clearly, fanservice is not for everyone, mostly people below the age of 13.

Update: DeviantArt has removed their sensitive content filter and decided that only artworks labelled mature by the artists will not be viewable to unregistered users.

Illegal Easy Victory

This is what censorship is designed for. Blocking people from viewing Not Safe For Work content, not stifling creativity.

In Bikini Karate Babes, there is an easy victory method involving removing your opponent's bra, forcing them to run off squealing. This method would have been considered illegal by today's standards as it would be considered "Not Safe For Work" and totally inappropriate.

Better off in Wet Panties

If the female swimmer trainers from Pokemon Sword and Shield as well as Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl got their bikinis wet, at least they would fare much better than Tarta and Tatra when their bikinis got wet. However, any mention of panties getting wet would obviously be considered inappropriate, even though bikinis are designed to get wet. That's why the female swimmer trainers do not even mention that they would rather get their panties wet when the player character defeats them.

Remember those comics about panties getting wet? In this comic, bikini bottoms are getting wet the same way, and bikini bottoms are more suitable for getting wet than lingerie panties. In other words, female swimwear bottoms are better than lingerie panties when it comes to getting wet in style.
