Clip Art Nostalgia

Do you remember the times when we had to use clip art to create presentations for school or office projects? What about that time when we had to create flyers using Microsoft Office Publisher? If you can remember those times, then you have nostalgia for clip art.

The truth about clip art is that, contrary to its discontinuation by Microsoft Office in 2014, clip art never lost popularity because the stock image hosting websites did not kill clip art, but rather, they displaced Microsoft Office as the most popular source for clip art images. Not to mention that royalty-free stock images have far more appeal than the clip art images provided by Microsoft...

Another Clippy Comic

Have you been carrying out a boycott of Microsoft lately? What about those who had been boycotting Microsoft since the Windows 8 fiasco? Perhaps it's because your desire is for the arrest of Bill Gates for all the wrongs he did to millions of Microsoft customers. Even Clippy would like to help Microsoft customers with arresting Bill Gates. However, Clippy may not be trustworthy as far as getting help to arrest Bill Gates is concerned...

A Clippy Comic

Do you remember Clippy? I do. He was not a nuisance, despite what other people say about him being irritating.

If you ever wanted to ditch Microsoft, maybe Clippy can help you. But you're better off without Clippy's help if you are ditching Microsoft for a better alternative because he's a very irritating Microsoft character.

Ditching Windows For Linux

Windows 10 support ends on 14 October 2025. However, Microsoft would like to make people pay another $30 to extend support until October 2026. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary solution. Therefore, the real solution would have to be ditching Windows completely in favour of Linux. After all, Windows viruses do not work on Linux systems, so why don't you give Linux a try?

Windows 11 Backlash

Microsoft has once again made its customers unhappy. Windows 11 is getting bad reviews from its users. Even Windows operating systems that got negative reviews such as Windows 8, Windows Vista and Windows Me were nowhere near as awful as Windows 11 despite the fact that these three operating systems have more haters than Windows 11.

Then again, Windows 11 is gaining haters faster than Windows Me, Windows Vista and Windows 8 because you have to sign in with a Microsoft Account to use Windows 11, and it "forces" you to use Microsoft Edge to browse the Internet. So much for Microsoft trying to create an operating system that they claim is better than Windows 10, but in reality is a step backward from its predecessor.

The End of Windows 8.1

On the 10th of January, 2023, Windows 8.1 goes end of support. If you are not interested in Windows 11, please consider jumping ship to Linux instead.

Windows 8.1 was conceived to correct the mistakes that were made when Windows 8 entered the software market, and when it was released, the reception was more positive that that of Windows 8.

Farewell, Windows 8.1. You were the light that guided Microsoft out of the darkness that was their great error of releasing Windows 8 without a visible start menu button.

Variations of a Polygon Man Introduction

Even a malevolent polygonal head like Polygon Man knows that Microsoft and Nintendo needs to suffer his fury for their bad business ethics. In fact, Sony still can never forgive Nintendo for their 1991 betrayal that nearly killed off the PlayStation before it could even be conceived. So if you are unhappy with the unethical business ethics of Nintendo and Microsoft, perhaps joining forces with Sony would be a better option, even if Sony sometimes behave like a jerk just like Polygon Man.

Parallel Economy Video Game Industry

Now is the time for the parallel economy to rise, and the parallel economy should create its own video game industry by having its own video game console so that people who are boycotting Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft for various reasons can jump ship. Even better still, the parallel economy should have its very own version of Steam, which would have games that are compatible with Linux operating systems.

Whether or not 3DO manufacturers Panasonic and LG supported artistic freedom and fair use remains a mystery. But both companies are definitely better than Nintendo when it comes to customer satisfaction.

Yes, Taiwan did try to leave a footnote on video game history with the Super A'Can, which is obviously not a Famiclone. Unfortunately, it was unable to compete with consoles from established brands such as Nintendo, Sega and Sony, resulting in the discontinuation of the Super A'Can. If Taiwan wishes for its sovereignty to survive, supporting the parallel economy is the only option left for them, and they can start by joining forces with parallel economy advocates from the Anglosphere. Perhaps Taiwan will manufacture their own video game console again, so that console gamers will have a true alternative to Nintendo, PlayStation, and XBox. An alternative that promotes freedom of expression.

Browser Discontinuation

Today is the day Internet Explorer, the web browser that Internet users despise for having too many cybersecurity flaws, gets discontinued by Microsoft. Apparently, Microsoft should have discontinued Internet Explorer a long time ago, especially after the release of Microsoft Edge. But starting from today, users of certain Windows 10 versions who browse the web using Internet Explorer will be redirected to Microsoft Edge instead.

However, in the defence of Internet Explorer, Microsoft's arrogance and complacency left the browser vulnerable to cybersecurity issues, which was the real reason behind the drastic decline of Internet Explorer, forcing Internet users to look for alternatives. Eventually, after more than 25 years, Microsoft decided to discontinue Internet Explorer for good.

Farewell, Internet Explorer. You used to be the dominant web browser, but Microsoft's complacency brought about your demise.

Internet Explorer's Demise

In 3 months' time, the web browser that we like to dislike will go end of support. It's a shame that Internet Explorer has fallen from dominance. It used to be the dominant web browser. But then came cybersecurity issues, forcing Internet users to search for alternatives. And Microsoft Edge was often said to be the successor to Internet Explorer, but it inherited most of Internet Explorer's flaws to the point the only thing Microsoft Edge is good for is downloading other web browsers.

However, we must remember that Internet Explorer paved the way for the rise of more effective browsers, so we must respect Internet Explorer and its successor Microsoft Edge.

Here is a video of Internet Explorer if the browser was an anime character:

How do you feel about Internet Explorer going end of service? Share your thoughts in the comments section.

Update: As of the 15th of June, 2022, Internet Explorer has been officially discontinued, and will now redirect to Microsoft Edge on several Windows 10 versions. On a related note, check out this comic about Internet Explorer's discontinuation.

XBox Reunion

Today marks the 20th Anniversary of the North American launch of the original XBox by Microsoft. What Microsoft didn't know was that they had created a video gaming brand similar to Sony's PlayStation. As a result, Microsoft brought America back in the Console Wars competition after Atari's exit in 1996.

To pay tribute to the original XBox and commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Microsoft's XBox brand, this comic is getting the band back together for a milestone Anniversary by bringing every XBox console model released over the past 20 years back for one epic reunion.

Happy 20th Anniversary, XBox.

The End of Windows 7

Goodbye, Windows 7. You and Windows XP were the best operating systems during my younger days. Especially when your introduction helped people to get over the Windows Vista fiasco.

From 14th of January, 2020, Windows 7 will no longer be supported. Please upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10 to continue receiving security updates.

Microsoft's History with Nintendo

Ladies and gentlemen, we have accomplished the impossible. Banjo-Kazooie is going to take part in Nintendo's Super Smash Bros tournament for the first time ever.

After years of living in the sidelines, Banjo-Kazooie has just become the first Microsoft representative in Super Smash Bros history. Given that Nintendo and Microsoft are Console Wars competitors, this has to be the biggest turning point in the history of Microsoft content on Nintendo platforms, which was something that was never done before since the Game Boy Color versions of Microsoft 6 in 1 Puzzle Collection and the Microsoft Best of Entertainment Pack.

Now all we need is for Nintendo to finally remove the no non-video game characters allowed restriction, and we will all be rejoicing, especially when we can either fulfill the campaign to have #JusticeForAshKetchum or have the Pokemon anime's low intelligence protagonist finally killed off for good. But then again, non-video game characters will be toxic for Super Smash Bros, in contrast to the Microsoft-owned Rare giving Banjo-Kazooie a license to take part in Super Smash Bros.
