Miyuki's Protest

In this comic, Miyuki is unhappy not because she does not like fanservice. She is unhappy about the Larry Nassar scandal that revealed a huge abuse scandal in USA Gymnastics as well as the mistreatment of homeless people in Tokyo by the police that is evicting them from the Olympic Games venues. That's why she is protesting against the injustices relating to the Olympics.

If you want to know why Miyuki is wearing Rosalina's leotard, that's because Rosalina does not wear her leotard from the Rio 2016 Edition of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games in the Tokyo 2020 Edition, and therefore, Miyuki can wear it. The reason Miyuki is holding a protest sign while wearing a leotard is because she stands in solidarity with gymnasts who had been victims of sexual abuse. Miyuki is also protesting against the injustices that nojukusha (Japanese slang for homeless people) are suffering from due to police brutality, which also led to the unlawful arrests of activists, one of whom goes by the name of A-san, whose arrest in 2016 for obstructing "official duties" was considered an unforgivable injustice.

Perhaps the Olympic torch relay was a mistake when it was first introduced, and the Olympic torch relay did not even originate from the Ancient Greeks that conceived the original ancient version of the Olympics at all. Yet another reason for the Olympics to be cancelled and abolished. For all the good intentions the Olympics promised, including peace, we had received almost nothing from it...

Update: The delayed Olympic Games in Tokyo has gone ahead as planned and concluded as scheduled. The campaign to cancel it was not successful.

Multi-role Bodysuit

When Nintendo and Sega co-published Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, we had female characters wearing proper gymnastics and swimming attires. One thing unusual about the female gymnastics attire is that it is also the swimming attire as well. This logic contradicts the fact that gymnastics leotards are not suitable for swimming.

If you want to know why the ice skater is not wearing a skirt, this was because when I went on a cruise ship, I saw an ice skating performance, in which a female ice skater took off her skirt. However, this seems acceptable because that's what ice skating leotards with detachable skirts are made for.

This comic is just made for the idea of what a female bodysuit specially designed for gymnastics, swimming and ice skating would look like.

Sports that should have been

These sports should probably be added into the Olympic Games starting from Tokyo 2020 onwards, if that is, these fusions of certain events in existing sports would work in practice.

Maybe these fusion sports will be accepted in the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series, and hopefully, there will be Zelda and Puyo Puyo guest stars in the Tokyo 2020 edition game. So please, add Arle from Puyo Puyo into the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series, Sega, even if Nintendo is the current publisher of future titles in the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series.

Here is a picture of Arle in her gymnastics and swimming attire that I drew:

That was why I made her the girl featured in this comic featuring new variations of the diving sport featured in official aquatics tournaments, in which the springboard was substituted for elements from gymnastics and pole vault. For those wondering why would someone wear gymnastics attire for water sports, the female characters in the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series were wearing their gymnastics costumes for swimming as well. In the case of a diver doing pole vaulting, it could be possibly due to the female athletics attire looking like swimwear, possibly because some of the shorts worn by the female athletes look like panties.

Issues aside, I think fusion sports will be the future of sports tournaments, if new sports need to be invented or current ones need a new variation.

Update: Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo Edition has finally been released, but no Zelda or Puyo Puyo characters are featured in that game.
