Wearing It Better 2

Swimsuits worn by my OC Turquoise in this comic, from left to right: Zelda's pink swimsuit from "Fairies In The Spring" (The Legend of Zelda TV series), Kagome's swimsuit from "The Toad Who Would Be Prince" (Inuyasha), Squid Girl's swimsuit (Squid Girl).

Author's Note: Turquoise is once again in another comic inspired by the "Who Wore It Better?" meme. This time, it's about swimsuits from various franchises.

There is just one instance of Zelda wearing a swimsuit, and that was in the Legend of Zelda TV series episode "Fairies In The Spring". This was also the only time where The Legend of Zelda series had a water park episode, which will be the closest this franchise will get to a beach episode.

But The Legend of Zelda series isn't the only case of a major female character wearing a swimsuit for one instance in official canon. At the start of the Inuyasha episode "The Toad Who Would Be Prince", we get to see Kagome swimming in a lake in her yellow and orange striped swimsuit. But that will be the only time we get to see Kagome in swimwear.

In contrast, Squid Girl gets to wear her white swimsuit on far more occasions, which makes far more sense due to the premise of Squid Girl being set in a town located near the sea.

If Turquoise were to wear any of these swimsuits, did she wear them better?

Wearing It Better

Character costumes worn by my OC Turquoise in this comic, from left to right: Cal (Ripple Island), Roomi (Galaxy Fight), Shonen Captain Magazine Female Link (The Legend of Zelda), Mother Fairy (Pac-Land).

Author's Note: My apologies for Turquoise lacking pointy ears for the Roomi and Female Link costumes. At least her Mother Fairy costume has the fairy wings. By the way, this comic was inspired by the "Who Wore It Better?" meme.

Cal is the deuteragonist of the Famicom game Ripple Island, while Roomi is one of the female characters from the Neo Geo fighting game Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors.

Illustrations of female Link exist. They were found in a Shonen Captain magazine article about The Legend of Zelda in 1986.

Returning a lost fairy to the Mother Fairy is Pac-Man's main objective before returning home to his family in the Pac-Land arcade game.

Do you think Turquoise wore it better when she is dressed up as any of these characters?

Thinking of other things other than other ladies

Author's note: This comic is a lawyer-friendly version of the highly popular "Thinking about other women" meme that is being shared throughout the World Wide Web.

I'm very sure the reason Ash Ketchum could never grow old after 25 years is because Ash Ketchum was Satoshi Tajiri's real self from the very beginning.

If Ash Ketchum's original nemesis Gary Oak was indeed named after Super Mario Bros creator Shigeru Miyamoto, then sentencing Gary Oak to death would be tantamount to a grave insult against the creator of Super Mario Bros.

I'm very sure Game Theory was right from the start regarding the Toads having a parasite so terrifying that even Bowser and every other ringleader of the Koopa Troop would have been unable to rein in this highly destructive threat.

What's bigger and badder than Fury Bowser? Demon Dragon Ganon from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It's also possible Demon Dragon Ganon is the biggest, baddest Ganon in the history of the Zelda series.

Given that Tekken had a long history in the arcade gaming scene, Tekken fans were sorely disappointed over Heihachi Mishima's absence from the Bad-Anon meeting scene in Wreck-it Ralph.

Famiclones do exist in Bulgaria, and they became more popular than Bulgaria's Pravetz computers due to Famiclones costing less than Pravetz computers.

The Consequences of Justice

If there was any reason Gary Oak was never punished for all the wrongs he did to Ash Ketchum by the time Ash's Journey ended, it's because giving Gary any comeuppance whatsoever will be a grave insult to Shigeru Miyamoto. After all, if Gary Oak dies, the entire Miyamotoverse that Shigeru Miyamoto conceived when he came up with Donkey Kong in 1981 will perish as well. Talk about the grave consequences of justice...

P.S. Satoshi Tajiri stated that if Ash finally wins, it will be over because it's possible becoming a Pokemon Master is the moment right before you die.

The Outsider Who Aspired To Surpass Miyamoto

Ever wondered why the writers who worked on the Pokemon TV series were unkind towards Ash Ketchum? That's because the Pokemon creator is even more of an outsider than Waluigi. This also explains why the writers believed Ash could not defeat Gary. They always think Satoshi Tajiri could never overtake Shigeru Miyamoto. However, many Pokemon fans were left with a Surprised Pikachu Face when Ash did beat Gary. Yet Gary still wants to torment Ash by asking a hard question about how close did Ash come to becoming a Pokemon Master when Ash's Journey was approaching its end.

At the end of the day, Satoshi Tajiri could never surpass Shigeru Miyamoto because the creator of Super Mario Bros was also known for conceiving Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Pikmin. Not to mention Gary Oak's namesake does not hate Waluigi at all. He just thinks Waluigi does not fit in the Wario series either.

Kick The Magikoopa

People kicking Kamek, from left to right: Waluigi (Super Mario Bros), Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog), Link (Ocarina of Time) (The Legend of Zelda), High Elf Archer (Goblin Slayer).

A comic starring one of the lieutenants of the titular Goblin Slayer? Looks like Neo Retro Union has no place for goblins now...

There are some Super Mario fans who claim that Kamek is the true villain of the Super Mario series. That's why Kamek is getting kicked by other people in this comic.

Waluigi dislikes all Koopa Troop ringleaders, and Kamek is no exception.

If Sonic wants revenge against Nintendo for Sega's hardware production exit, he can always vent his anger and frustration on Nintendo's villains.

This comic is also a subtle nod to RuneScape's Combat Triangle, where ranged users defeat magic users. That's why ranged users such as Link and High Elf Archer are shown here kicking magic users like Kamek.

Kamek getting kicked could also be a dark nod to Kamek getting omitted from the Mario Kart World playable character roster.

Mithril Warhammers United

Characters wielding Old School RuneScape Mithril Warhammers featured from left to right starting with the top row:

Row 1: Amy Rose (Sonic), Lip (Panel de Pon), Yoshi (Super Mario), Red Yoshi (Super Mario), Blue Yoshi (Super Mario), Yellow Yoshi (Super Mario).

Row 2: Hat Kid (A Hat in Time), Suchie-Pai (Suchie-Pai), Rit (Rod Land, Soldam), Klonoa (Klonoa), Toon Link (The Legend of Zelda), Ryo Sakazaki (The King of Fighters XV Attire) (The King of Fighters).

Row 3: Garfield (Garfield), Edd (Ed Edd N Eddy), Gilius Thunderhead (Golden Axe), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Ax Battler (Golden Axe), Simon Belmont (As he appeared in Captain N: The Game Master) (Castlevania).

Row 4: RED Soldier (Team Fortress 2), BLU Soldier (Team Fortress 2), Dirk the Daring (Dragon's Lair), Spelunker (Spelunker), Wynn (Mystery of Atlantis), Lemming (Lemmings).

Yet another comic where characters wielding Old School RuneScape weapons are rising up in united arms against the injustices plaguing the Earth? Looks like justice know no boundaries...

Bottomless Pit Prison Sentence

In The Legend of Zelda TV series episode "The Moblins Are Revolting", Ganon's soldiers staged a mutiny by imprisoning Ganon in the Bottomless Pit. Ganon's prison sentence in the Bottomless Pit lasted several minutes of screentime and Ganon already found it unbearable.

Speaking of prison sentences in the Bottomless Pit, did you know that the Devilish One will be locked up in the Bottomless Pit for 1000 years? If being locked up in the Bottomless Pit for several minutes is unbearable, then a 1000-year prison sentence in the Bottomless Pit will be extreme torture. Even then, that will be nothing compared to the Devilish One getting tortured in the Lake of Hellfire before getting banished to Outer Darkness forever. That will be the ultimate torment awaiting the Devilish One and his demons at the end of this Age...

Execution by Obliteration

Author's Note: All copyrights for the images in this comic go to their respective owners.

Remember the times when Dragon Ball Z's Goku obliterated baddies with his Kamehameha? Well, he would have obliterated Bubsy, Awesome Possum and Tingle with a Kamehameha just to appease the people who hate these guys.

Ganondorf Is Too Cruel...

If Ganondorf were to execute Tingle, he would have thrown Tingle into a poison gas chamber similar to the ones found in the Nazi Death Camps.

If you hate Tingle for being a nuisance, killing him would be the right solution. But imprisoning Tingle in a poison gas chamber is not the right way to execute Tingle because it would make you as bad as the Nazis. And if Tears of the Kingdom was any indication, Ganondorf would have been far worse than the Nazis...

Armor Piercing Stab

Weapons stabbing a female noob wearing bronze armor from left to right starting with the top row:

Row 1: Maple Glory Sword (MapleStory), Steel Longsword (RuneScape), Keenblade (RuneScape), Maple Soul Singer (MapleStory), Gradriel's Sword (Princess Crown).

Row 2: Master Sword (The Legend of Zelda), Steely Throwing Knife (MapleStory), Adamant Throwing Knife (Old School RuneScape), Sparta (MapleStory), Broadsword (MapleStory).

Bronze equipment was always considered to be the stuff of noobs in RuneScape before the Evolution of Combat Update. After that update went live, iron equipment, which used to require level 1 in certain combat skills had their skill requirements increased, making them out of reach for some people who did not have the requirements when that update went live. This was perhaps the real reason Jagex decided to come up with Old School RuneScape, so that players who could not cope with the new combat update can enjoy what RuneScape used to be like before the Evolution of Combat.

To show how weak bronze equipment is in Old School RuneScape, various weapons are shown stabbing a female noob in this comic. Even low-level weapons such as Keenblade and steel longswords could pierce through bronze armor, so don't get started on high-level weapons. The results would be far too horrific beyond imagination...

The Weird Side of the Web

The Internet can sometimes be a weird place, and here are just twelve images that define Internet weirdness.

There were occasions where belly dancers' skirts fell down, resulting in their panties getting exposed. It's a good thing the panties prevented further indecent exposure, because it could have been worse for the belly dancer whose skirt fell down if she did not wear any panties.

Wearing shorts that are skin-tight may not be a good idea, because the back of the shorts could rip, resulting in underwear getting exposed. One must wonder how would Peach respond to other people's reactions to her ripped shorts.

Pantsing images are quite common, and many of these images are considered inappropriate, even if the panties that got exposed were bikini bottoms.

In the Splatoon series, Inklings dissolve in water, which explains the orange ink puddle and the floating Squid Girl swimsuit in the swimming pool.

Since 2021, Smurf accounts have been the targets of the banhammer because Smurf accounts ruin gaming experiences for many people.

Toad deserves to get stabbed by Link, Cloud, Yuko and Schezo for being a potentially destructive parasite in the guise of a helpless but irritating nuisance.

Animal Crossing Villagers do not like being stuck in pitfalls, and the male Villager is shocked after getting stuck in a pitfall.

Many Fall Guys players keep falling off the edge in stages that are suspended in the sky.

Forehead coin to funnel is weird because in involves pouring water through a funnel into somebody's pants. Panties were not meant to get wet, unless they were bikini bottoms.

When I went on a cruise ship in 2013, I went to watch an ice skating performance. A female ice skater took her removable skirt off her leotard near the end of the show.

The armors from Mario Strikers Charged are bulletproof and do not crack, in contrast to the brittle armors from Ghosts'n Goblins.

Boyshorts panties that look like the shorts worn by Pyra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 actually exist. They may be tiny, but they are more modest than conventional panties. Even wearing a tiny pair of shorts as tiny as the one worn by Pyra under skirts or dresses helps to prevent panty shots.

Swimming Pool Matriarch Visual Gag Variations 3

Once again, it's time for another Matriarch of the Swimming Pool visual gag variations comic.

Can you believe it's been 2 weeks since Steamboat Willie entered the Public Domain? Guess Disney had finally thrown in the towel and let the cartoon that marked the debut of Mickey Mouse go into the Public Domain, in what could well be the greatest victory for Fair Use.

Is it really a coincidence that Wii Party U and Wii Fit U both came out in Japan on the same day? Not really. According to several sources, the Japanese release dates of Wii Party U and Wii Fit U were stated to be on 31 October 2013.

If you have watched the Legend of Zelda TV series, you would have known that one of the show's 13 episodes, "Fairies in the Spring", is a water park episode, which happens to be the only time where Zelda is officially seen wearing a swimsuit. Since then, Zelda hasn't been seen in swimwear outside of fan art.

LG used to be one of the manufacturers of the 3DO video game console. After the 3DO was discontinued, LG stopped making video game consoles for all markets.

Some professional chefs who are not Italian have officially confirmed that pineapples should not be pizza toppings at all.

Did you know that Germany once operated MiG-29 fighter jets? When the Federal Republic assimilated East Germany, the Luftwaffe inherited East Germany's MiG-29s. Then Germany sold their MiG-29s to Poland for €1 per aircraft. This sounds ironic given that Germany was Poland's biggest enemy in World War 2, as well as stupid, especially when MiG-29s were among the best Russian-made fighter jets. But it's not. Selling military hardware for symbolic prices is merely to clear up your inventory of equipment that you no longer have any use for. Therefore, it makes sense that Germany wants to be rid of Soviet-era equipment by selling them off for ludicrously low prices because Germany no longer has any use for them.

Mario VS Pokemon Mental Gymnastics

Maybe the real reason those who wronged Ash Ketchum were never punished was because Nintendo knows that Ash Ketchum's namesake Satoshi Tajiri was the reason Game Freak almost went bankrupt back in the mid-1990s. Another reason is that Satoshi Tajiri wanted to surpass Shigeru Miyamoto, but that has not come to fruition due to Little Town Hero being a disappointment, and the fact that the Mario series also includes the Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Wario series as well. Therefore, the decision was made to have Ash's journey end with the intellectually disabled illiterate go on one last journey of friendship and co-existence.

Then again, Gary Oak's namesake Shigeru Miyamoto does not hate Waluigi, contrary to popular belief. Miyamoto also allows other Nintendo franchises that's not Pokemon to have crossovers with the Mario series outside of Super Smash Bros. Even Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series was allowed to enter Mario territory. Perhaps this is why Satoshi Tajiri will never be able to surpass Shigeru Miyamoto, because Pokemon licensing is harder to obtain than third-party character licensing, which is why the Mario series can have crossovers with Zelda, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin and even Sonic, but not Pokemon, if you do not count Mario Pikachu, that is.

Stab The Jerk

Weapons stabbing Gary Oak, from left to right: Master Sword (The Legend of Zelda series), Maple Glory Sword (MapleStory), Gradriel's Sword (Princess Crown), Bamboo Spear (Ikki), Soldier's Broadsword (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild).

I don't care if Ash Ketchum's original nemesis Gary Oak was named after Mario and Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto. The arrogant bully must be punished for all the years of bullying Ash Ketchum and tormenting millions of Pokemon fans worldwide. Even if it turns out that Ash Ketchum was either mentally ill, or a Zainichi Korean, or dare I say, a mentally ill Zainichi Korean, persecution is still persecution, and justice must be done, no matter what the cost.

Booty Panties

As long as there are underpants, especially female ones, the underwear obsessed pirate trio of Shark Bait, Smelly Pete and Sissy Le Poop will always seek them no matter what trouble they run into.

There are technically nine knickers in this comic, although the comic is about eight knickers that would get the attention of Shark Bait, Smelly Pete and Sissy Le Poop. This is because the two boyshorts knickers from both Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission were included together.

Sometimes, what makes a pair of panties attractive is the shape, or the color pattern. Even special designs such as the Triforce Panties would definitely get the attention of Shark Bait, Smelly Pete and Sissy Le Poop.

But remember, whatever Shark Bait, Smelly Pete and Sissy Le Poop are doing is strictly prohibited and can get you jail time.

Random Clawshots

If Link could randomly fire his clawshot, who knows what his clawshot would grapple on...

It's hilarious to see the lower part of Princess Peach's dress get ripped off, exposing her panties, and it's even more hilarious if she was wearing striped panties.

Magikoopas are warlocks who transmute brick blocks into various objects such as Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Spinies, coins and mushrooms. Kamek is the most prominent Magikoopa, and snatching his wand will render him unable to transmute brick blocks into Goombas, Koopa Troopas and Spinies.

Sega confirmed that Dr Eggman's moustache is fake. Therefore, ripping it off would be the best way to humiliate him, and yes, that is Mega Drive Dr Eggman that got his moustache ripped off.

For those worried about people losing their heads, the Dr Wily that lost his head was the fake that fooled Mega Man, allowing the real Dr Wily to live to fight another day.

Mr Krabs is notorious for his obsession with money and greed, and he is gasping over his dollar bill being snatched away by a random clawshot.

Famicom Disk System 35th Anniversary

While the Breath of The Wild sequel may not be available this year, Skyward Sword is going to get a HD re-release for the Nintendo Switch this year to mark the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda.

For those wondering why is there a Triforce symbol above Diskun, that's because The Legend of Zelda was a launch title for the Famicom Disk System, and Diskun was the hardware's mascot. Both of them came out on the 21st of February, 1986, and 2021 marks their 35th anniversary.

Happy 35th Anniversary, Legend of Zelda and Famicom Disk System.

Urbosa's Panties

On the 8th of September, 2020, Nintendo announced the prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, which happens to be the sequel to the original Hyrule Warriors. It was called Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and it is set 100 years before Breath of The Wild. Maybe Hyrule Warriors will finally be considered part of the Official Zelda Timeline.

While Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will finally answer the questions to the inquiry on how Calamity Ganon won in the first place, which will include how the four Champions who were supposed to take charge of the Divine Beasts met their demises at the hands of the Blight Ganons, a segment of the trailer where Urbosa does a perfect dodge to avoid a Yiga Blademaster's Windcleaver gave people who watched the trailer a glimpse of Urbosa's panties for the very first time. Sounds like Nintendo is slowly trying to create fanservice content that could potentially give their games a "Mature" rating.

Philips CD-i Nintendo Games

When Nintendo dumped Sony in favour of a partnership with Philips, which eventually turned sour, resulting in the demise of a proposed CD add-on for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, what Nintendo left behind was an unpleasant legacy that they would rather forget to the point they were all but lost in the historical records of video game history.

The internet, however, had different plans for the Mario and Zelda games that were launched for the Philips CD-i. In 2006, YouTube users started uploading video footage of Philips CD-i Mario and Zelda games, creating a new genre of internet content that internet historians call "YouTube Poop." Back then, copyright law was not as strict as compared to now. Even then, Nintendo wants to forget about Hotel Mario and the Philips CD-i Legend of Zelda games, which means content creators who create YouTube Poop videos using content from the Philips CD-i Nintendo games are classified as compliant with the Fair Use Act.

Even as times change, and not for the better, the legacy of the Philips CD-i Nintendo games will continue to live on, as long as there are people who are willing to acknowledge their existence, and the memes that were created from them.
