Remembering Tim Curry

As if Dolly Parton's obituary wasn't bad enough, Tim Curry's obituary came like a hypersonic missile.

Tim Curry was best known for being the scary clown Pennywise in the 1990 horror film IT. Other notable films starring Tim Curry included The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Home Alone 2 and Muppet Treasure Island. Tim Curry was also known for being Premier Anatoly Cherdenko in Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, which had one of the most iconic video game quotes of all time, and it went like this:

"I'm escaping to the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism!... SPACE!!!!!"

Farewell, Tim Curry. Dasvidaniya.

In Memory of Dolly Parton

As if things weren't depressing enough with all of the turmoil that's going on right now, the death of Dolly Parton was a gut punch to morale that came too soon. She was 80 and in failing health prior to her death, but still, it was a gut punch that came all too soon.

Rest in Peace, Dolly Parton. Your legacy will live on in your country music, Dollywood and the Imagination Library.

Arcade X Console (Sega Beach Edition)

The beach setting would be very fitting for the scantily-clad female enemies from the Arcade version of Jaleco's The Astyanax. Especially when they start running off screaming and squealing away after their tops fall off, which has, unfortunately, been a major cliche in beach settings...

Awkward Fashion

If there is anything awkward about MapleStory, it has to be the apparel. The Shivermail worn by female Archers make them look like they are wearing a bra with the right skin colour. Otherwise, it's just a camisole. The Fairy Tops worn by female Magicians look like strapless bras with see-through detached sleeves, and the Fairy Skirts are see-through skirts that would have allowed anyone to see the wearer's panties if not for the skirt's loincloth covering the panty area. And don't even get started on the Cash Shop costumes...

The Real Truth Behind The Cruel World

Have you ever wondered why this world is so cruel? The real truth? This is a world held captive by Satan the Demon King. This tyrant has deceived Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit that God told them not to eat, caused all of the misery that Job had to go through in the Book of Job, tempted Jesus Christ in the Wilderness (unsuccessfully), masterminded the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and is responsible for the worst tyrants and terrorists known to the history of mankind.

But all of the Demon King's tyranny will come crashing down when Jesus Christ returns to condemn this tyrant to a prison sentence in the Bottomless Pit for 1000 years. So much for humanity having to endure years of cruelty...

Grey Areas

The Grey Areas. A neutral zone that is supposedly neutral, but in reality is not a neutral zone. God, however, has imposed terms and conditions that are black and white, meaning he wants us to stay out of the grey areas.

In light of third-party archivists getting deplatformed for violating copyright regulations that are getting stricter, this comic about the grey areas could become more relevant in the future. If you want to truly live, stay out of the grey areas.

Humvee Colours

The humble Humvee. A scout vehicle deployed by several countries that made appearances in many films and video games, with the Command and Conquer series being one of them.

In this comic, the Humvees appear in different colours, namely Desert Brown, Olive Drab, and Four Shades of Green (Olive Drab, Leaf Green, Forest Green and Dark Olive Green).

The Flag of Singapore (If it was made of RuneScape Gems)

I'm very sure Singapore's RuneScape fans have more creative ways to celebrate National Day than making a flag of Singapore using any red and white RuneScape items...

Gemstone art by itself is already expensive enough in both the real world and the MMORPGs. But making a flag with rubies and diamonds would have cost a fortune...

Engine Upgrade

Remember those times when the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) had A-4 Skyhawks? These aircraft were, unfortunately, prone to hull losses due to multiple causes, both in combat and outside of combat. In the RSAF's case, all A-4 Skyhawk hull losses were non-combat-related cases. But the hull losses were so bad that a retrofitting campaign was needed. So ST Engineering got to work by procuring a replacement for the Curtiss-Wright J65 engines. They found a very good replacement in the form of the General Electric GE-F404-100D, which was basically a non-afterburner version of the engines found on the F/A-18 Hornet. The RSAF never recorded a single A-4 Skyhawk hull loss after the 1988 retrofitting campaign as a result, and the A-4 Skyhawk was eventually retired from RSAF service in 2012.

Wielders of swords stabbing Sir Arthur's flimsy armor from Ghosts'n Goblins: Gradriel (Princess Crown), Yuko Asou (Valis), Lucia (The Wing of Madoola), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe).

Remember the comic about the armor-piercing stab? Well, the fragile armor worn by Sir Arthur from the Ghosts'n Goblins series turned out to be weaker than the bronze platebody from RuneScape. No wonder the swords wielded by Gradriel, Yuko, Lucia and Tyris Flare could pierce through the armor with just one stab. One must wonder what kind of low quality steel was used to make the armor worn by Sir Arthur in the Ghosts'n Goblins series...
