What to do when visiting Canada

Canada sounds like a great place to visit during winter, if winters were not harsh or miserable, that is.

If you played World of Warships or War Thunder, you do know that one of the ships featured in both games is HMCS Haida, a Canadian Tribal-class destroyer that served in World War 2 and the Korean War. For those who like to visit museum ships, pay a visit to HMCS Haida when you visit Canada.

Canada is known for its winter sports, most notably Ice Hockey. So you might want to go to Canada if you want to watch NHL ice hockey matches, especially when Canadian NHL teams win a lot of Stanley Cups.

The CN Tower is the tallest building in Canada, and yes, it's the one in Toronto. You might want to get a good view of Toronto from the main observation level if you do buy the tickets to go in, unless you are afraid of heights just like me.

Canada during winter is a great place for snowboarding and snowmobiling. Also, you might want to see the Aurora Borealis. It's a great lightshow in the Great White North.

For those wondering who Jonathan Burton is, he is the man behind the CarbotAnimations YouTube channel that is known for animated videos about Blizzard's games. So you may want a Blizzard-related plushie with his autograph on it.

With all that said, enjoy your visit to Canada, or if you're Canadian, reinvigorate your love for all things Canadian.

100% Disapproval Rating

Author's Note: Bobby Kotick should have resigned long before the latest scandal concerning Activision Blizzard.

If you are aware of what is happening right now, Activision Blizzard has been hit by yet another scandal. This time, it's about Bobby Kotick issuing death threats to his assistant in 2006 being revealed to the whole world. This is in addition to the mistreatment of Activision Blizzard's female workers being exposed to the general public. Such unethical business practices made the video game industry demand that Bobby Kotick resign. Net users, however demand that Bobby Kotick should go to jail and Activision Blizzard cease operations for good.

Speaking of Activision Blizzard, I made a couple of comics that are aimed at bashing Activision Blizzard's franchises. You might want to read them here and here.

An Overdue Blizzcon Announcement

Not even Doctor Strange would be able to find a single outcome in the Warcraft series where the Void Lords finally get defeated.

If people who wish to quit World of Warcraft have a genuine reason to quit the game (other than cutting costs, boycotting Blizzard for disqualifying Hearthstone tournament winners who are willing to stand up for democracy, Activision's bad management, etc.), it would be the sad realization that not one outcome, not even a single what if scenario, end with the Void Lords being defeated by anybody.

This would mean that if it was confirmed that the Dark Titan Sargeras did actually win when he stabbed Silithus, then his victory would actually be a hollow one, because the Void Lords always win, and not even the what if scenarios where the bad guys win will do anything to prevent the Void Lords from winning at the end. In other words, the Burning Legion's campaign to take over Azeroth was doomed from the start. Even if the Burning Legion won, which they actually did, thanks to Sargeras stabbing Silithus, their victory will be short-lived, because they will have to deal with the Void Lords themselves, and defeat at the hands of the Void Lords will be inevitable.

Imagine if somebody were to make this important revelation at Blizzcon about analyzing millions of outcomes in the Warcraft series, and every one of them ended with the Void Lords winning, how will everybody attending Blizzcon react to this announcement?

In other words, well played, Chris Metzen.
