Still Munching Dots After 45 Years

What began 45 years ago with Toru Iwatani noticing a missing pizza slice looking like an open mouth became the crown jewel in Bandai Namco's video game history. Since then, Pac-Man went on to become a symbol of popular culture, making guest appearances in many other games and films. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Happy 45th Anniversary, Pac-Man! Here's to chomping your way to your 50th Anniversary!

Amico Wishlist

The Amico console was designed with bringing families together in mind. However, its future does not look bright at the moment. But that will not stop people from coming up with ideas for great games for the Amico. Here are just three games that I think would have been perfect for the Amico if the Amico were to finally see the light of market availability.

1. Soldam: Drop, Connect, Erase: This long-awaited sequel to Soldam was a launch title for the Nintendo Switch in Japan. It got ported over to the PlayStation 4 in 2019. Should this game starring the fairies Rit and Tam get ported over to the Amico, it would have been a fantastic must-have Amico game in the Japanese market, and probably one of the few Amico titles to have a magical girl in it.

2. Atari Karts HD Remake: Remember Atari Karts for the Atari Jaguar? While Atari Karts got re-released as part of the Atari 50 games compilation, a HD remake of this mediocre racing game is long overdue. If we were to get a HD remake of Atari Karts, it would fix everything wrong with the original, as well as add new characters to the character roster. Perhaps we could have Bubsy, Ultra Vortek's Volcana and Kasumi Ninja's Angus MacGreggor added to the character roster?

3. A Pizza Maker Game: There are so many pizza maker games out there that I cannot even count them. If the Amico was designed with bringing families together in mind, then a pizza maker game should be one of those family-friendly games featured on the Amico's games list.

Ravioli Pizza

Yes, ravioli pizza actually exists, and it's a delicious must-try, just like ravioli lasagna.

No Pineapples on Pizzas, Please

500 posts on this blog? Can you believe it? We are almost at 500 comics! Get ready for that major milestone!

Pineapples taste good, and so do pizzas. However, despite pineapple pizzas having a good taste, pineapples should not have been pizza toppings in the first place. Even if you were not an Italian or a master chef like Gordon Ramsey, you should know very well that combining the acidity of pineapples and tomatoes will damage the structural integrity of the pizza slices. Therefore, pineapples do not belong on pizzas.

Swimming Pool Matriarch Visual Gag Variations 3

Once again, it's time for another Matriarch of the Swimming Pool visual gag variations comic.

Can you believe it's been 2 weeks since Steamboat Willie entered the Public Domain? Guess Disney had finally thrown in the towel and let the cartoon that marked the debut of Mickey Mouse go into the Public Domain, in what could well be the greatest victory for Fair Use.

Is it really a coincidence that Wii Party U and Wii Fit U both came out in Japan on the same day? Not really. According to several sources, the Japanese release dates of Wii Party U and Wii Fit U were stated to be on 31 October 2013.

If you have watched the Legend of Zelda TV series, you would have known that one of the show's 13 episodes, "Fairies in the Spring", is a water park episode, which happens to be the only time where Zelda is officially seen wearing a swimsuit. Since then, Zelda hasn't been seen in swimwear outside of fan art.

LG used to be one of the manufacturers of the 3DO video game console. After the 3DO was discontinued, LG stopped making video game consoles for all markets.

Some professional chefs who are not Italian have officially confirmed that pineapples should not be pizza toppings at all.

Did you know that Germany once operated MiG-29 fighter jets? When the Federal Republic assimilated East Germany, the Luftwaffe inherited East Germany's MiG-29s. Then Germany sold their MiG-29s to Poland for €1 per aircraft. This sounds ironic given that Germany was Poland's biggest enemy in World War 2, as well as stupid, especially when MiG-29s were among the best Russian-made fighter jets. But it's not. Selling military hardware for symbolic prices is merely to clear up your inventory of equipment that you no longer have any use for. Therefore, it makes sense that Germany wants to be rid of Soviet-era equipment by selling them off for ludicrously low prices because Germany no longer has any use for them.

Italian Opinions

Let's face it. Italians staunchly believe that pineapples should not have been pizza toppings. They will get upset over this. But if you ask Italians about how horrible their prison camps in World War 2 were, they would have no idea what you are talking about. In reality, Italy's prison camps were so horrible that they make the German and Japanese prison camps look less harsh in comparison. This truth, however, has been cast aside due to Italy performing poorly in combat during World War 2, and many successful reconciliation attempts between Italy and its former enemies. Of course people will forget about Italy's war crimes due to their subpar performance in World War 2, the reconciliation attempts, and the great food Italy serves up.
