Thinking of other things other than other ladies 9

Hey, folks. I'm back once more with yet another comic about my OCs in a lawyer-friendly version of the "Thinking about other women" meme.

Ever wondered why Ash Ketchum was portrayed by the Pokemon Anime's writers as an eternal underdog who could never win a Pokemon League from Gen 1 to Gen 6? That's because Ash Ketchum was not only named after Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri, but Ash Ketchum was Satoshi Tajiri's real self. Satoshi Tajiri was always an underdog, and Ash Ketchum was the embodiment and personification of Satoshi Tajiri's underdog spirit.

Speaking of the Pokemon Anime, there is more than enough evidence to prove that Porygon was a scapegoat who was framed for the infamous "Electric Soldier Porygon" epilepsy incident. Why was Porygon not the real culprit? Because none of Porygon's moves in the Pokemon games are capable of causing the epilepsy incident.

All of us are familiar with Clow Reed splitting into two leading to the events of Cardcaptor Sakura. But what we do not realize was that Clow Reed split into two after the dark events of Chapter 200 of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, where Princess Sakura was devoured by a Death Seal placed inside her by Fei Wang Reed.

The Tower of Druaga TV series was more than just Gonzo's love letter to the 1984 Namco arcade classic. It helped to revive interest in the Namco arcade game it was based on. Not to mention that The Tower of Druaga TV series wrapped up in 2009, the year of the 25th Anniversary of The Tower of Druaga arcade game.

While the Famicom version of Karateka was mediocre, the Atari 7800 version of Karateka was nearly unplayable...

Konosuba's Aqua is a nearly useless goddess who should not even be in some of the worst possible places such as the Plants Vs Zombies suburb, the world of Golden Axe, and the realm of the Doom demons. Her lack of real combat capabilities would cause her to run around screaming "KAZUMA!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!" is she was in Doom, Golden Axe, or Plants Vs Zombies...

Arcade X Console (Sega Beach Edition)

Credits to The Spriters Resource Users Ragey and Ultimecia for the Arcade and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive versions of Tyris Flare from Golden Axe respectively.

If there was one setting where Tyris Flare's bikini attire makes sense, it has to be the beach setting. Alternatively, a swimming pool setting would also be another place where Tyris Flare's bikini attire makes sense. After all, bikinis are designed for getting wet.

Armor Piercing Stab 2

Wielders of swords stabbing Sir Arthur's flimsy armor from Ghosts'n Goblins: Gradriel (Princess Crown), Yuko Asou (Valis), Lucia (The Wing of Madoola), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe).

Remember the comic about the armor-piercing stab? Well, the fragile armor worn by Sir Arthur from the Ghosts'n Goblins series turned out to be weaker than the bronze platebody from RuneScape. No wonder the swords wielded by Gradriel, Yuko, Lucia and Tyris Flare could pierce through the armor with just one stab. One must wonder what kind of low quality steel was used to make the armor worn by Sir Arthur in the Ghosts'n Goblins series...

Stomp The Mischief-Maker

Characters stomping the Mischievous Lemming from Lemmings Touch: Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Ryo Sakazaki (The King of Fighters), Tam (Rod Land, Soldam), Deedlit (Record of Lodoss War).

In the light of Sony's controversial decision to discontinue disc-based gaming in 2028 and close the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita Digital Stores in 2027, this comic was conceived as a retaliatory strike against Sony's bad decisions. That's why the Mischievous Lemmings from Lemmings Touch are getting their backs stomped by Tyris Flare, Ryo Sakazaki, Tam and Deedlit. Not only is this a revenge attack against the Mischievous Lemmings for all the level failures caused by these miscreants entering the Exit in Lemmings Touch, it's also a revenge attack against Sony's bad decisions as well since Sony owns the rights to the Lemmings series. Therefore, it makes sense for the gamers to vent their collective anger against Sony's villains.

Memories of a Bygone Era

Images in this comic that will potentially invoke nostalgia for a bygone era, from left to right: Cayna and Silviana having baked potatoes with cheese and mashed potato toppings, Ramaya taking her skirt off at the beach, Tyris Flare and Ramaya doing the Epic Handshake, The Peanut Butter Jelly Time Dancing Banana saying his catchphrase.

Now that Ramaya from Arabian Fight and the Peanut Butter Jelly Time Dancing Banana have made their appearances in Neo Retro Union's comics, the big question is, who will be next?

Amid all the turmoil going on right now, be it the sour rivalry between the leftists and the rightists, the big revolt in Iran, China still being obsessed with ending the Century of Humiliation by force amid a severe downturn, and the Internet becoming more broken due to its ongoing balkanization at the hands of a European Beast whose rise continues unhindered despite the threats of rogue tyrants and terrorists, many netizens would love to remember a time when freedom of creativity wasn't threatened by dark forces that seek to weaponize regulations for imperialistic purposes, and I am one of those netizens...

Remember those times when we ate baked potatoes at restaurants? Those baked potatoes came with various toppings such as the baked potato toppings found in RuneScape (Cheese, Egg and Tomato, Tuna and Sweetcorn, etc.), meats, vegetables, mushrooms, and even mashed potatoes. In this comic, Cayna is having a baked potato with cheese, while Silviana is having a baked potato that has mashed potato topping. How I miss those good times...

Anyone who visits the beach, especially female characters, would like to get ready to hit the beach, and undressing at the beach is all too common. In this case, Ramaya from the obscure Sega arcade game Arabian Fight is taking her skirt off. Her crop top looks like a bra with short sleeves meaning all she needs to do is take her skirt off and she's ready to get wet in her crop top and panties.

Remember the Epic Handshakes comic that I made back in 2024? Well, the third panel in this comic is a continuation of that Epic Handshakes comic. This panel features Tyris Flare from Golden Axe and Ramaya from Arabian Fight doing the Epic Handshake because they're both heroines from arcade beat 'em ups that are made by Sega. It's highly likely they are both excited about finding a lake they can go swimming in.

The Dancing Banana needs no introduction whatsoever. Created by Trym Stene in 1999, the Dancing Banana GIF only soared in popularity when it got combined with the song "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" by DJ Chip-Man and The Buckwheat Boyz in the early 2000s. Since then, the Peanut Butter Jelly Time Dancing Banana has always been the one person who keeps coming back when the Internet needs him most.

With all that said, we can all agree that we all miss the good times that are long gone. However, we must remember that there is a far brighter future that holds more happiness than the nostalgia of a bygone era.

Thinking of other things other than other ladies 5

Hey folks, I'm back with yet another comic about my OCs in a lawyer-friendly version of the "Thinking about other women" meme.

While not as common as the Apple II's presence in Singapore, the Commodore C64 had moderate success in Singapore's home computer market in the 1980s. This means there is a possibility of Singapore having a community dedicated to the history of the Commodore C64 and its game library, with Jaleco's Rod Land being one of those games. The question is, if Singapore had the C64 port of Rod Land, how rare would that game be in that region?

Speaking of Singapore's home computer market in the 1980s, Japanese home computers were also marketed in Singapore. It's also possible that Singapore had the Sony MSX, the Fujitsu FM-7, and the NEC PC-8000, but they were less common than the Commodore C64.

MapleStory had multiple time-limited crossovers with other franchises, with the Japanese version having the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Crossover Event. Now that it's over, the next crossover event could have SAMG and Nexon come to an agreement to have the Teeniepings from Catch! Teenieping come to MapleStory in another time-limited event, and this event will be in the South Korean version and the Japanese version. After all, the Teenieping series hails from South Korea just like MapleStory.

Many regions where Nintendo consoles are marketed in can only have either the Famicom or the NES. Singapore, however, was one of the few regions where the video game stores had both the Famicom and the NES.

It's unknown if Rod Land's Rit or Princess Crown's Gradriel could survive the realm of Golden Axe. Maybe Golden Axe's brutal setting would be far too much for Rit, but Gradriel would probably end up destroying Death Adder in record time.

Stamp Out The Vape

Characters' shoes from left to right, starting with the top row:

Row 1: Rit (Rod Land, Soldam), Ax Battler (Golden Axe), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Sakura Kinomoto (Star Dress) (Cardcaptor Sakura).

Row 2: Suchie-Pai (Suchie-Pai), High Elf Archer (Goblin Slayer), Davis (Little Fighter 2), Conscript (Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3).

In recent months, Singapore has ramped up its anti-vaping campaign. So here is a comic about vapes getting stomped by various characters in the style of an American propaganda poster from World War 1 where Uncle Sam's shoe is stamping out the Kaiser.

Kick The Noob

Characters kicking the RuneScape Noob in this comic: Sakura Kinomoto (Red Cape Leotard) (Cardcaptor Sakura), Rit (Rod Land, Soldam), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Volcana (Ultra Vortek).

I do not have any grudges against the RuneScape Noob in this comic. It's just that he may have been a bot user in disguise, and bots have been a big nuisance as far as legitimate RuneScape players are concerned.

Kick The Mischief-Maker

People kicking the Mischievous Lemmings, from left to right: Rit (Rod Land, Soldam), Tam (Rod Land, Soldam), Ax Battler (Golden Axe), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe).

In Lemmings Touch, if a mischievous lemming enters the exit, it will result in a game over. Therefore, mischievous lemmings do not deserve any sympathy at all, which is why in this comic, the mischievous lemmings are being kicked by other people.

Mithril Warhammers United

Characters wielding Old School RuneScape Mithril Warhammers featured from left to right starting with the top row:

Row 1: Amy Rose (Sonic), Lip (Panel de Pon), Yoshi (Super Mario), Red Yoshi (Super Mario), Blue Yoshi (Super Mario), Yellow Yoshi (Super Mario).

Row 2: Hat Kid (A Hat in Time), Suchie-Pai (Suchie-Pai), Rit (Rod Land, Soldam), Klonoa (Klonoa), Toon Link (The Legend of Zelda), Ryo Sakazaki (The King of Fighters XV Attire) (The King of Fighters).

Row 3: Garfield (Garfield), Edd (Ed Edd N Eddy), Gilius Thunderhead (Golden Axe), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Ax Battler (Golden Axe), Simon Belmont (As he appeared in Captain N: The Game Master) (Castlevania).

Row 4: RED Soldier (Team Fortress 2), BLU Soldier (Team Fortress 2), Dirk the Daring (Dragon's Lair), Spelunker (Spelunker), Wynn (Mystery of Atlantis), Lemming (Lemmings).

Yet another comic where characters wielding Old School RuneScape weapons are rising up in united arms against the injustices plaguing the Earth? Looks like justice know no boundaries...

Groin Kicked 2

People kicking the female fencer from the Astyanax, from left to right: Rit (Rod Land, Soldam), Suchie-Pai (Suchie-Pai), Yuko Asou (Valis), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe).

As if the female fencers from the Astyanax having their blouses fall off wasn't bad enough, getting their groins kicked by female characters is going to make life even worse for them. And it doesn't help when female Jaleco characters such as Rit and Suchie-Pai are among the people who are kicking the female fencers' groins...

Groin Kicked

Contrary to popular belief, Sega's rivalry with Nintendo did not cease after Sega exited hardware production as a result of the Dreamcast's discontinuation. Tyris Flare kicking Princess Peach's groin in this comic is proof that Sega's rivalry with Nintendo is still ongoing.

In this comic where Princess Peach gets her groin kicked by Tyris Flare four times, Peach is wearing four different attires. Panel 1 is her Super Mario Strikers attire, Panel 2 is her Mario Strikers Charged attire, Panel 3 is her Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games swimsuit, and Panel 4 is her Super Mario Odyssey bikini.

Hammer Axes United

Characters wielding hammer axes, from left to right: Ax Battler (Golden Axe), Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Wynn (Mystery of Atlantis), Klonoa (Klonoa), Lemming (Lemmings).

Yes, hammer axes do exist as actual weapons. Not only in fantasy fiction, but also in real life as well.

Remember when I came up with comics where people rise up in united arms against injustice? Well, I'm back with a new comic where people rise up in united arms against injustice.

Kick The Ijiwaru 3

Characters kicking Waluigi's rear, from left to right: Wynn (Mystery of Atlantis), Spelunker (Spelunker), Fei Long (Super Street Fighter 2), Ryo Sakazaki (The King of Fighters), Ax Battler (Golden Axe).

Yet another comic about people kicking Waluigi's rear? Looks like Waluigi must have been so unlikeable that people had to kick him hard. Especially when "weak" characters such as Wynn and Spelunker are giving Waluigi the boot.

Dragon Longswords United

Characters wielding Old School RuneScape Dragon Longswords featured from left to right starting with the top row:

Row 1: Sakura Kinomoto (Crystal Feather Dress) (Cardcaptor Sakura), Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken), Lemming (Lemmings), Dirk the Daring (Dragon's Lair), Rit (Rod Land, Soldam).

Row 2: Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Lip (Panel de Pon), Nessa (Pokemon Sword and Shield), Akira Yuki (Virtua Fighter 5 Attire) (Virtua Fighter), Ryo Sakazaki (The King of Fighters XV Attire) (The King of Fighters).

Row 3: Ripple (Magical Chase), Suchie-Pai (Suchie-Pai), Ptolemy (The Fairyland Story), Klonoa (Klonoa), Wynn (Mystery of Atlantis).

This comic was made to make certain characters look awesome if they wielded RuneScape's Dragon Longswords. Also, the characters featured in this comic need to rise up in united arms against the injustices plaguing the Earth. Perhaps the Earth would have been a better place by now if we had taken any action against the injustices tormenting the Earth a few decades ago...

Too Skimpy?

Skimpy costumes featured from left to right starting with the top row:

Row 1: The Justin Bailey leotard that happens to be what Samus wears in the second-best ending of Metroid (Metroid, 1986, Famicom Disk System, NES), Tyris Flare's bikini (without vambraces) (Golden Axe, 1989, Arcade, Sega Genesis), Hiromi's leotard (without armour) (Burning Force, 1989, Arcade), Silk's bikini (Cotton Series, 1991, various platforms starting with the Arcade), the green leotard worn by Celes (without belt and cape) (Final Fantasy VI, 1994, various platforms starting with the SNES).

Row 2: The swimsuit worn by Arle in the Puyo Puyo CD system version error screen (Puyo Puyo CD, 1994, TurboGrafx CD), Twinkle's leotard (Puzzle Bobble 3/Bust-A-Move 3, 1996, various platforms starting with the Arcade), Arle's PuyoLympics attire (PuyoLympics, 1998, PC), Arle's two-piece swimsuit in PuyoLympics (PuyoLympics, 1998, PC), Metroid Fusion ending outfit (Metroid Fusion, 2002, Game Boy Advance).

Row 3: Rikku's yellow bikini (Final Fantasy X-2, 2003, PlayStation 2), Metroid: Zero Mission ending outfit (Metroid: Zero Mission, 2004, Game Boy Advance), Peach's soccer attire (Super Mario Strikers, 2005, GameCube), Daisy's soccer attire (without armour) (Mario Strikers Charged, 2007, Wii).

Having female characters wear skimpy costumes sounds ridiculous, if the last panel was anything. However, the skimpy costumes are not the problem. It's the scenarios that the attires worn by the characters that make the video game players question the appropriateness of such costumes.

Note: Although this comic covers the topic on skimpy female costumes featured in video games from 1986 to 2007, not all skimpy female costumes found in video games from that time period are featured in this comic, with the biggest omission being Super Metroid's ending outfit, which was featured in a comic posted earlier on this blog.
