Remembering Tim Curry

As if Dolly Parton's obituary wasn't bad enough, Tim Curry's obituary came like a hypersonic missile.

Tim Curry was best known for being the scary clown Pennywise in the 1990 horror film IT. Other notable films starring Tim Curry included The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Home Alone 2 and Muppet Treasure Island. Tim Curry was also known for being Premier Anatoly Cherdenko in Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, which had one of the most iconic video game quotes of all time, and it went like this:

"I'm escaping to the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism!... SPACE!!!!!"

Farewell, Tim Curry. Dasvidaniya.

Humvee Colours

The humble Humvee. A scout vehicle deployed by several countries that made appearances in many films and video games, with the Command and Conquer series being one of them.

In this comic, the Humvees appear in different colours, namely Desert Brown, Olive Drab, and Four Shades of Green (Olive Drab, Leaf Green, Forest Green and Dark Olive Green).

Warzone Goners

The warzones of Command and Conquer: Red Alert have no place for pathetic weaklings. Here are five weaklings who should never be in such warzones.

France's biggest loser needs no introduction whatsoever. Glass Joe has an abysmal 99 losses according to his lore in the Punch-Out series. If he were to fight in the Red Alert trilogy's version of the Cold War, even a cheap conscript would easily mow him down in personal combat.

As the weakest character in the Street Fighter series, Dan Hibiki was always destined to be weak. He's not as weak as Glass Joe, but still, he will get mowed down by conscripts...

Bubsy's catchphrase of "What could possibly go wrong?" will end up becoming self-fulfilling if this Bobcat were to be fighting in a Cold War gone hot because he will end up angering Soviet Russia's huskies and War Bears, resulting in him getting eaten up by them.

While Spelunker has bombs and an Uzi, these weapons will mean nothing when falling from a height of one meter means instant death. Therefore, Spelunker would be dead if he was to fight in the Red Alert warzones...

Wynn already has too many enemies and hazards that would knock him dead in one hit in his own game. If this fragile protagonist were to be posted to the Red Alert warzones, he would definitely be a goner despite being armed with bombs.

TL;DR, if these weaklings went to the Red Alert warzones, all of them are guaranteed to be goners.

Stamp Out The Vape

In recent months, Singapore has ramped up its anti-vaping campaign. So here is a comic about vapes getting stomped by various characters in the style of an American propaganda poster from World War 1 where Uncle Sam's shoe is stamping out the Kaiser.

Practical Apocalypse Tank

The designs for the Apocalypse Tanks in Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 3 are actually impractical to be honest. However, I came up with a more practical design for the Apocalypse Tank that takes the best of both designs.

Firstly, my Apocalypse Tank redesign has two treads instead of four. Secondly, it has the SA-13 Gopher Anti-Air Missile Launchers. It would still have the M-Harpoon from Red Alert 3, though.

Even then, this redesigned Apocalypse Tank still lacks the practicality of the T-14 Armata. But that does not mean the Apocalypse Tank does not have a place in any war zone. It's a pity there will not be a new Command and Conquer Red Alert game in the foreseeable future. Not even a reboot...

Conflict Mineral

Tiberium. A highly valuable but radioactive mineral that the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod went to war over since the very first game in the Command and Conquer series. It turned living things into all sorts of mutated life forms, including visceroids, although many living things ended up dying from Tiberium radiation poisoning instead.

Transport Vehicles

There are many modes of transport for military personnel. Armored Personnel Carriers such as the M113 transport troops on land. At sea, hovercrafts are used for transporting troops and vehicles. In the air, Chinook helicopters transport troops from one location to another.

Not So Honorable

Ever wondered why Japan hasn't been sincere with their apologies for World War 2 atrocities? What if it turns out that not many of Japan's war criminals were punished because they were needed to be the counterbalance against Asian communism? If that is true, then this could explain why those who have been wronged by Japan during World War 2 will not have any justice at all, and also the reason the Yasukuni Shrine that the Allies ordered to be demolished still stands to this day.

Ion Cannon Blasted

The Tekken fighting game series is known for being very ridiculous. And it does not help when the Mishima Clan's blood feud takes the ridiculousness to a whole new level.

In Tekken 7, Heihachi Mishima fired an Orbital Laser Satellite at the Millennium Tower, obliterating it and killing everybody inside except his son Kazuya and Street Fighter's Akuma, who were fighting on the roof of the Millennium Tower at the time of its destruction. The crazy thing is that the Orbital Laser Satellite functions similarly to the Ion Cannon Satellite that the Global Defense Initiative deployed to obliterate the Brotherhood of Nod's Temple in Command and Conquer's Tiberium storyline.

You can add the Orbital Laser Satellite to the list of crazy things the Mishimas did in the history of the Tekken series. That's how ridiculous the Tekken series has become.

Defining Cold War Alternate History

Today marks the 25th Anniversary of the PC game Command and Conquer Red Alert. This game in the Command and Conquer series catapulted the Cold War alternate history setting genre to massive popularity levels that no other game in this category could achieve prior to this game's launch. There have been several spiritual successors to the Red Alert games such as World in Conflict and the Wargame trilogy, but they just fall short of being true spiritual successors to the Red Alert trilogy. Perhaps it's because the Red Alert trilogy has military equipment that looks like they came straight out of Cold War-era science fiction and an epic soundtrack that World in Conflict and the Wargame trilogy does not have. The Inquiry on General Carville's Death

How a Crazy Ivan made his way inside The Pentagon that he exploded General Carville could well have been the work of Spetsnaz commandos infiltrating The Pentagon and smuggling the aforementioned Crazy Ivan. If that was true, this would have demonstrate not only why Crazy Ivans were so dangerous that they had to be totally omitted from Red Alert 3, but it also demonstrates how pragmatic Spetsnaz commandos are. Unfortunately, if an inquiry on General Carville's death existed, it would have been lost amid time travel shenanigans in Yuri's Revenge, and later on, Red Alert 3.

More things we will not have before WW3

It would be great to have a deluxe version of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Nintendo had designed Nintendo Switch ports of several Wii U games such as Mario Kart 8, New Super Mario Bros U and Pikmin 3. If Super Smash Bros Ultimate Deluxe ever happens, it will have all the DLC characters and stages from the original version, as well as a new campaign.

Despite the success of Command and Conquer Remastered Collection, there will not be a Command and Conquer Remastered Collection Volume 2 however, as Electronic Arts is not keen to do a remaster of Tiberian Sun or Red Alert 2 because a remaster of both games will need more effort than the Command and Conquer Remastered Collection.

MapleStory already had several tie-in events, including Sword Art Online, Cardcaptor Sakura, and BTS. However, a tie-in event starring Command and Conquer is very unlikely because in Red Alert 3, the Korean War got erased from the Cold War history books when Anatoly Cherdenko shook hands with Albert Einstein and erased him from the space-time continuum. Therefore, a Command and Conquer tie-in event is definitely out because when you have a storyline where the Cold War took a wrong turn because of time travel, there would be no licensing agreement between Nexon and Electronic Arts.

Unfortunately, as much as we would like any of the above to happen, we are not going to have any of them before World War 3 happens...

Explosions Compilation

Author's Note: My apologies to any German or Austrian readers who may be offended from reading this comic. However, if reading the truth as told by some of their netizens was any indication, Germany and Austria are slowly being taken over by autocrats.

If there is any way for a webcomic whose curtain call has not yet come to come to an end, go with a big bang. That's why this comic features explosions. Cue the finale of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture...

The bombing of the last Fokker Dr.I triplane by an Allied air raid in World War 2 sounds like justice for Snoopy or the 80 pilots who were shot down by the Red Baron in World War 1. However, Snoopy's World War 1 escapades may all be just his imagination according to WildBrain's new Peanuts cartoon. It's also possible that according to one fan theory found on Reddit, Snoopy was actually a World War 1 pilot who was killed in that conflict reincarnated as a dog, and is split between his past life and his current one.

Merchant ships have fallen prey to submarine torpedoes, and German merchant ships also fell prey to Allied and Soviet submarine attacks during World War 2 in retaliation against Germany's unrestricted submarine warfare during that conflict. The freighter that is about to get torpedoed in this comic is named Rostock, after a port city located in eastern Germany.

Capitalism is not the real enemy. The driver of the demolition truck that is about to blow up the pillbox has said that corporatism is the real enemy because if there is anything wrong with capitalism, it's obviously corporatism's fault.

The armoured fighting vehicle that is about to get blasted by a nuclear bomb is an Austrian Ulan armoured fighting vehicle. Recently, Austria's leaders had been disrespecting their democracy by becoming more autocratic. This hostile takeover of Austria, as well as several European Union member states, including Germany, by autocrats was already prophesied by the Bible. You know what else Bible prophecy predicted? The next Russo-German War. And Austria will be fighting for Germany against Russia and several countries from Asia that possess nuclear bombs. This means that the nuclear bomb dropped on the Austrian armoured fighting vehicle in this comic is a Russian nuclear bomb.

Up In United Arms

I cannot believe I have not featured anything related to MapleStory in my comics until now. Maybe it's time MapleStory got more attention in my comics...

Attention, all readers. If you are fed up with all the injustices going on throughout the whole world, it could be time to rise up in united arms, regardless of what weapons you are using.

Below is a detailed explanation for all the weapons featured in this comic:

The bronze dagger is known for being the weakest weapon in the history of the RuneScape game in both RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape. Steel daggers are significantly stronger than bronze daggers in both RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape, and are commonplace with special forces all over the world.

In RuneScape, farmers fight using pitchforks, and pitchforks have always been a symbol of angry mobs.

The 2020 edition of Looney Tunes has decided to remove guns from the show. This means Elmer Fudd will no longer be using his shotgun. However, Warner Bros did not remove dynamites from the 2020 edition of Looney Tunes. Therefore, enjoy laughing at cartoon explosions while we still can, because weapon control laws will tighten the noose on our childhood memories.

Shotguns, handguns, Uzis and dynamites have always been weapons featured in many games in the Worms series, which has been known for the many hilarious deaths of worms due to these weapons.

In the Command and Conquer games, technicians use their pistols to defend themselves. Unfortunately, it's useless against buildings and most vehicles. Only in the hands of super commandos do pistols do any damage against vehicles, with the most prominent example being the Metal Slug games.

The AK-47 has become a symbol of Russia's military power, as well as a common weapon of Russia's client states. Unfortunately, terrorists have idolized the AK-47, and that's no good.

Wands have largely been the favourite weapon of choice for many magical girls, including Rit from Rod Land and Soldam, and being a magic user is quite common for many female MapleStory and RuneScape player characters. This is why Rit's magic wand, MapleStory's Ice Wand and RuneScape's Mystic Wand are featured in this comic.

The stick grenade was originally used by the German Army during World Wars 1 and 2. Unfortunately, it failed to help Germany win both World Wars, which they obviously lost. In the Metal Slug series, the stick grenades are used by the playable characters as well as mid-boss Allen O'Neil.

Dynamites have always been a favourite weapon of the Crazy Ivan from Red Alert 2. In fact, the Crazy Ivan is one of the most humorous units in the game along with any explosive unit that blows up enemies.

Sais have been a mainstay in all things ninja, including MapleStory. The most prominent user of sais has to be Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

MapleStory is just one of those games where you can use silly weapons, and one of those silly weapons is a steel pipe.

Gonbe and Tago from Ikki use bamboo spears to fight for justice. Just as pitchforks are the weapons of angry mobs from Western countries, bamboo spears would be the best choice for the Japanese or East Asian counterparts to the pitchfork.

How The Cold War Should Have Ended

Right from the start of the Cold War, Russia's threats against the Allies had always been a bluff. Even when the Korean Peninsula was embroiled in a civil war that is still ongoing to this day despite a peace agreement in 2018, Russia's threats against America was going to be a bluff right from the start. All of this was because the late Herbert W. Armstrong boldly proclaimed "Russia will not attack America!" He was proven to be correct. Eventually, in 1991, Germany's "shadow government" instigated separatist movements in Slovenia and Croatia to entice these two countries to declare independence from Serbia. Many nations condemned it, including Russia, China and their client states.

Now, 30 years after the break-ups of Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union, Germany's true colours may have already been revealed. This means that NATO did not succeed in keeping the Germans down, while keeping the Russians out of Europe. No wonder Russia, China and other rogue dictators have become so angry. Germany's desires for an empire did not die when they lost World War 2. Germany wants to enforce their will upon other countries, including so-called "rogue dictatorships". This will provoke rogue dictators to lose their minds and unleash a nuclear firestorm. In other words, Germany had been lying to the Anglosphere and the rest of the free world, much to the anger of even the German people.

Maybe Russia should have won the Cold War. Then we will not have to deal with a warlike empire headquartered in the Rotten Heart of Europe...

The Sinking of the Merchant Ship Tyre

Author's Note: This comic was made in memory of the merchant ships and their crew that were lost during the two World Wars. It is in no way made to offend those who perished as a result of unrestricted submarine warfare.

Ezekiel 27 was all about the demise of the city of Tyre, depicted as a merchant ship. Ezekiel described Tyre in his day as well as a future version in a prophecy for the future as a "marketplace of nations". This was basically a continuation of Isaiah 23, as Isaiah also describes Tyre in his day as well as a future version in a prophecy for the future as a "marketplace of nations". The biggest difference was that whereas Isaiah 23 was a prophecy against Tyre, Ezekiel 27 was a lament over Tyre.

If Tyre was a merchant ship that was going to sink, it will not be sunk by a submarine's torpedo as depicted in the comic, but by the "east wind". This means that Tyre would have been sunk by very bad weather such as lightning storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons or cyclones, and such bad weather have been getting worse and more frequent over the past 20 years. Of course many people will be in mourning over the merchant ship Tyre getting sunk because the merchandise that the ship was carrying is going to end up being located thousands of feet deep in the ocean. Talk about objects being virtually irretrievable...

Allied Vengeance

Historical Fact: The last original Fokker Dr.I Triplane was once piloted by Manfred von Richthofen a.k.a. the Red Baron. It was destroyed by an Allied bombing raid in World War 2.

If you, just like me, want to get unduly upset and throw tantrums over Snoopy failing to truly defeat the Red Baron, just remember that the last original Fokker Dr.I Triplane got destroyed by Allied bombs in World War 2. So much for the long wait for justice and vengeance. And yes, I used the Allied symbol from Red Alert 3 to depict the Allied bombs destroying the Red Baron's Fokker Triplane.

Just to let you know that if I were the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, I would have sent captured German Panzers (including Panthers, Tigers and King Tigers) and U-Boats to suffer the same tragic fate that befell Hiroshima and Nagasaki at Operation Crossroads. How's that for justice? Because I would like to destroy a King Tiger tank by electrocuting it with a Tesla Coil or blasting it into oblivion with an atomic bomb. If you think villains don't deserve to perish so horribly, you might as well end up on the floor next to Georgi Kukov.

Insufficient Evidence

There are a fair amount of sources claiming that copyright infringement funds terror activities. However, evidence to support such claims are uncommon and therefore cannot be accepted by those who are fighting for digital freedom. This is why even if I am a copyright holder, I have no right to go after my own fans if they get caught for infringing on my copyrights because if I do that, I can assure you that I will get boycotted, and I cannot afford to get boycotted as much as I cannot afford to hire a lawyer to go after offenders.

Perhaps one of my biggest "war crimes" in my video game history was blasting enemies with single-use exploding units. One of the most notable case was that one of my favourite units in Red Alert 2 was the Demolition Truck. That is why I featured a Demolition Truck blasting somebody who wants the Fair Use Act gone from Copyright Law in order to win the War on Terror. Such people who wants Fair Use removed from Copyright Law have no right to stifle freedom and creativity.

Krukov's Nuclear Proposal

Amid the recent riots at the US Capitol which got Donald Trump's Twitter account suspended for instigating rebellions, Nintendo's crackdown on alleged acts of copyright infringement, and the coming implementation of the European Union Copyright Directive, which could possibly be the real reason behind Nintendo going after infringements of their intellectual properties, trademarks and copyrights, if General Nikolai Krukov was Russia's Defence Minister, he would have been crazy enough to unleash a nuclear firestorm upon many parts of the Earth. No wonder Rover would be horrified if Krukov asked him for any authorization to unleash a nuclear firestorm. Especially when in the Animal Crossing games, when the "Rebuild the town" option is selected, the NPCs who will ask the player on what they want to do will be shocked because rebuilding the town will mean erasing everything in that particular town. Telling the Animal Crossing NPCs such as Rover to authorize the firing of nuclear weapons will be even worse than erasing just one town.

If only Red Alert 3 was as popular as Red Alert 2, General Krukov's request to unleash nuclear weapons would be popular enough to be considered for usage by anyone involved in remix culture and used in YouTube Poops.

Another comic about Shopee and Lazada having an annual sale? And it's on the eleventh day of the eleventh month? The only problem is that the recently released Command and Conquer Remastered Collection will not get a special discount on Veteran's Day whatsoever, unfortunately.
