In 3 months' time, the web browser that we like to dislike will go end of support. It's a shame that Internet Explorer has fallen from dominance. It used to be the dominant web browser. But then came cybersecurity issues, forcing Internet users to search for alternatives. And Microsoft Edge was often said to be the successor to Internet Explorer, but it inherited most of Internet Explorer's flaws to the point the only thing Microsoft Edge is good for is downloading other web browsers.
However, we must remember that Internet Explorer paved the way for the rise of more effective browsers, so we must respect Internet Explorer and its successor Microsoft Edge.

Update: As of the 15th of June, 2022, Internet Explorer has been officially discontinued, and will now redirect to Microsoft Edge on several Windows 10 versions. On a related note, check out this comic about Internet Explorer's discontinuation.
