NES 40th Anniversary Tribute

Author's Note: All copyrights for the characters in this comic (except Spelunker) belong to Nintendo.

Can you believe that the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is now 40 Years Old? That's right. Today marks the 40th Anniversary of the video game console that resurrected an entire industry that was thought to be dead after the infamous 1983 North American Video Game Crash. To celebrate this joyous occasion, here is a picture of Link from The Legend of Zelda lifting up a Nintendo Entertainment System with Mario, Samus (in her Justin Bailey leotard) and Spelunker on top of it.

Happy 40th Anniversary, Nintendo Entertainment System! The video game industry would not have experienced its resurrection without you!

Practical Apocalypse Tank

The designs for the Apocalypse Tanks in Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 3 are actually impractical to be honest. However, I came up with a more practical design for the Apocalypse Tank that takes the best of both designs.

Firstly, my Apocalypse Tank redesign has two treads instead of four. Secondly, it has the SA-13 Gopher Anti-Air Missile Launchers. It would still have the M-Harpoon from Red Alert 3, though.

Even then, this redesigned Apocalypse Tank still lacks the practicality of the T-14 Armata. But that does not mean the Apocalypse Tank does not have a place in any war zone. It's a pity there will not be a new Command and Conquer Red Alert game in the foreseeable future. Not even a reboot...

Peanuts at 75

Good Grief! Can you believe it's been 75 years since the Peanuts comic strip made its debut in seven American newspapers? Since then, the Peanuts franchise has become a force to be reckoned with, even after the death of Charles M Schulz in 2000.

The brick wall has been the main hangout for various Peanuts characters who wish to have conversations with each other. To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Peanuts, here is a comic starring my original characters Red Cap and Blue Cap behind a brick wall talking about the 75th Anniversary of Peanuts and its legacy.

Happy 75th Anniversary, Charlie Brown! May the legacy of Charles M Schulz live on!
