Opinions on Brexit

If there are any countries that will approve of the United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union, it's Switzerland and Norway. Of course these two countries will approve of Brexit because Switzerland and Norway are not part of the European Union. Belgium, on the other hand, will disapprove of Brexit because Brussels, the Belgian capital city, is the headquarters of the European Union. However, many people do not see who the true power inside Brussels really is, and those that do had their political careers cut short. So much for Germany being reunited under democracy when those who uphold democracy were in the minority before reunification.

At the end of the day, Margaret Thatcher may have been right to say "You did not anchor Germany to Europe. You have anchored Europe to a newly dominant, unified Germany. In the end, my friends, you'll find it will not work."

Leotard Swimsuit

Female swimsuits that resemble long-sleeve gymnastics leotards actually exist. It sounds crazy, but it's officially true. Swimwear designers actually looked to long-sleeve gymnastics leotards to get inspiration for new swimsuit designs, which resulted in long-sleeve swimsuits that resemble gymnastics leotards.

It gets even crazier when you learn that leotards that can be worn as swimsuits exist. The Water Jester Costume from Cardcaptor Sakura comprises of a water-resistant dress and a blue leotard, which makes some people wonder if it is actually a swimsuit. In the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series, the female characters wear gymnastics leotards that function as swimsuits in the swimming events. If these instances of leotards being worn for situations where they will get wet are crazy, then you have not heard of the leotards offered by Destira. Some of their leotards can be worn as swimsuits. This means Cardcaptor Sakura and the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series both laid the foundations for leotards that are designed to be worn as swimsuits.

Remembering the Neo Geo

The Neo Geo. The arcade cabinet that transformed SNK into a serious Console Wars contender by giving us The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown and Metal Slug. A true icon of video game history that may have influenced the creation of the Newgrounds website. Now, more than 30 years later, the Neo Geo is still the greatest arcade cabinet in video game history, with the Sega Astro City being the only serious contender that I know of.

Swimming Pool Matriarch Visual Gag Variations 6

Author's Note: It's been a few months since the previous Matriarch of the Swimming Pool Visual Gag Variations comic. Maybe time constraints do have a serious effect on comic production after all...

Did you know that Casio used to manufacture video game consoles? That's right. Casio, a manufacturer of calculators and watches, used to manufacture video game consoles, namely the PV-1000, PV-2000 and Loopy. Unfortunately, due to poor sales, all of Casio's consoles were discontinued after a short period of time.

Despite the retirement of the MiG-21s, Romania's armed forces are not in good shape. Their only submarine, the Delfinul, has been relegated to the sidelines since 1995 and it has not received replacement batteries since the initial batteries were exhausted in 1996. Therefore, it would be safe to decommission and scrap the Delfinul because none of the proposals to overhaul the submarine have been implemented. Also, Romania's TR-85 is a problematic tank because it was mechanically unreliable during initial tests. Even after modernization programs in the mid-1990s, the TR-85 is still not a good tank because it's worse than India's Arjun MBT.

Speaking of terrible tanks, Switzerland's Panzer 68 has to be the worst tank to enter military service because of multiple problems were found in the Panzer 68, including radios interfering with the turret system. With that said, between the woes of the Panzer 68 and Switzerland lacking a proper navy, Switzerland is better off not being on the list of playable countries in Systemsoft Beta's Daisenryaku series. Even Romania, whose armed forces are in bad shape, has the potential to be on the list of playable countries in the Daisenryaku series.

If you watched the scene where Godzilla arrives in Tokyo in Godzilla Minus One, Godzilla is confronted by several Type 4 Chi-To tanks. In real life, only two Chi-To tanks were built, and both were thrown into a lake at the end of World War 2. If we want Godzilla Minus One to be true to Japan in 1947, it would make more sense if Godzilla was confronting Type 1 Chi-He tanks and Type 3 Chi-Nu tanks. After all, these two tanks are more numerous than the Chi-To.

Have you ever wondered why Nintendo and the Pokemon Anime's writers were unkind to Ash Ketchum? For all we know, Ash Ketchum and his namesake Satoshi Tajiri were one and the same. And this plot twist gets even crazier when we learn that Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Looks like we found another legitimate reason to boycott Nintendo because they have been mean to somebody who has a variation of autism.

Breaking Waluigi

There's a good reason Waluigi is destined for a life of self-pity. Waluigi is not related to Wario, which explains the lack of Waluigi in the WarioWare series.

Ravioli Pizza

Yes, ravioli pizza actually exists, and it's a delicious must-try, just like ravioli lasagna.

Special Themed Restaurants and Hotels

Special themed restaurants and hotel rooms do exist. They are uncommon, however.

A RuneScape-themed restaurant might sound like a great idea. In fact, I would be tasting some of the dishes that come from the game. The problem is, will the RuneScape fanbase patronise the place? What about ex-RuneScape players or people who do not know about the game?

Themed hotel rooms dedicated to the history of companies such as Fujitsu and Panasonic sound like a great idea. However, such hotel rooms would cater more to business people. But I feel that hotel rooms dedicated to the histories of Fujitsu and Panasonic should also have the video game consoles from these two companies. If I were to stay in a Fujitsu-themed hotel room, I would like to try out the Fujitsu FM Towns Marty. In the case of a Panasonic-themed hotel room, I would be hoping to try out a Panasonic 3DO.

Despite all the problems faced by special themed restaurants and hotel rooms, these places are here to stay as long as they have paying customers.
