The Nintendo Entertainment System. The video game console that revived an industry that was thought to be dead as a result of the North American Video Game Crash of 1983, turns 35 on this very day. If not for this console, video games would not have experienced a renaissance, and pop culture would not have grown to become a huge part of our life.
