The End of Dr Mario World

As if 2021 wasn't depressing enough, it turns out that Nintendo announced today that Dr Mario World is closing down on 1st of November, 2021. If insufficient income was not the real reason for the game's closure, then it has to be the microtransactions, which many players disliked the most about the game. If not the microtransactions, then it has to be the awful amount of malpractice involved in this game. Dr Mario's malpractice was also to blame for his absence from the Super Smash Bros Brawl playable character roster. At the end of the day, Nintendo will only have themselves to blame for giving a doctor's licence to babies. Nikki from Swapnote would have been a far better choice for a Dr Mario World playable character than babies, who should not even have a doctor's licence at all.

Update: Dr Mario World did close its doors for good on 1st of November, 2021. Hopefully, this will be the end of malpractice that Nintendo had failed to take note of since 1990.

Pestilences and Prophecies

The pandemic situation just got worse again, and it's affecting my mood negatively. However, the Bible had warned us about terrible pestilences getting worse. Maybe we should have listened to the cryptic prophecies that are found in the Bible regarding the end times...

The Inquiry on General Carville's Death

How a Crazy Ivan made his way inside The Pentagon that he exploded General Carville could well have been the work of Spetsnaz commandos infiltrating The Pentagon and smuggling the aforementioned Crazy Ivan. If that was true, this would have demonstrate not only why Crazy Ivans were so dangerous that they had to be totally omitted from Red Alert 3, but it also demonstrates how pragmatic Spetsnaz commandos are. Unfortunately, if an inquiry on General Carville's death existed, it would have been lost amid time travel shenanigans in Yuri's Revenge, and later on, Red Alert 3.

Unacceptable Undressing

Let's be honest here. Pantsing anybody is unacceptable anywhere. Even if the person who got pantsed was wearing swimwear instead of underwear, undressing is not allowed outside the changing room.

So if you want to pull down somebody's pants or skirt, don't even think about it. Not even when near swimming areas.

Euro 2020 Grand Finale

Denmark's dream run was finally brought to an end by every International Football fan's favourite underdog England. 55 years of not being in the Grand Finals of a major soccer tournament have been brought to an end. Therefore, Italy will face England in the Euro 2020 Grand Finale. Who knows, maybe England will get an International Football Trophy after 55 years...

What's the best way to celebrate the winner of Euro 2020? Have the favourite dish of the winner as a victory feast. If Italy wins, have some lasagna. If England wins, have some fish and chips.

Update: Italy won Euro 2020. I guess it's lasagnas for everybody who is invited to whatever victory feast that's being prepared for those rooting for the team that won.

Evergreen in Four Seasons

Regardless of what season it is, evergreen trees do not shed their leaves unlike their deciduous counterparts that shed their leaves every autumn. And yes, orange grass exists when autumn comes around, sometimes due to the leaves of deciduous trees. But orange grass can sometimes be caused by grass rust, a disease which occurs in autumn during periods of time with low rainfall.

Swimwear Conservatism

Just because Nintendo is a video game company of Japanese origin doesn't mean they are advocates for ecchi levels of fanservice. Besides, Nintendo has to think of the younger audiences.

When Mario Kart Tour released a swimwear version of Rosalina along with the Marine Tour, we were left somewhat disappointed. The recently released Summer Tour has a swimwear version of Daisy, and the reception was similarly disappointing. In contrast, Azumanga Daioh had beach episodes where the two female teachers Yukari and Nyamo wear more appealing swimwear, with Nyamo wearing a bikini in all three beach episodes, and Yukari even tried to wear a bikini in a school swimming pool. Even female school swimsuits have more appeal than the swimwear versions of Daisy and Rosalina that are available in Mario Kart Tour.

Operation Crossroads

Fun Fact: The bikini swimsuit was named after Bikini Atoll. However, the name was only given to this particular two-piece swimsuit after the nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll.

Today marks the 75th anniversary of Operation Crossroads, a SINKEX that truly heralded the end of the era when battleships ruled the seven seas. Although the enormous explosion was supposed to scuttle the target ships, it was actually the radioactive fallout from the atomic bombs that rendered warship armor useless as the radiation would kill off the warship's crew, rendering it a radioactive ghost ship.

As a result of the Operation Crossroads SINKEX, Bikini Atoll remains uninhabitable to this very day because the islanders can never return due to the radioactive substances...

There have been theories about the underwater life of SpongeBob SquarePants. Some claim the anthropomorphic underwater creatures were the result of the nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll, which may have been the namesake for Bikini Bottom, the town where SpongeBob SquarePants takes place in. Whether this is true or not is uncertain.
