Keeping It Civil Down Under

It's a good thing the feud that we call the "Sheep and Cattle Wars" was only confined to the American Wild West. As far as we are concerned, cattle ranchers and sheepherders in Australia and New Zealand have very positive relations between each other because they both help to contribute to Australia's and New Zealand's agricultural exports. Perhaps it's because the disputes between cattle ranchers and sheepherders in Australia were settled in a civic manner years before the Sheep and Cattle Wars began in the American Wild West.

Smacking an Ice Cream

Author's Note: This comic is based on the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale cutscene where Kratos from God Of War encounters Twisted Metal's Needles Kane, and vice versa. Kratos, thinking that Needles Kane was another pawn of Polygon Man's malevolent plans, smacks Needles Kane's ice cream.

Here, you can see from left to right, an arrow fired from an Archer Lemming, a javelin hurled by a Spearer Lemming, a dagger thrown by King Arthur from Ghosts'n Goblins, a baseball, possibly thrown by either a Thrower Lemming or a pitcher Mii from Wii Sports and Wii Sports Club, and the sword from Dragon's Lair wielded by Dirk the Daring, all of them smacking Needles Kane's ice cream.

It's definitely not a good idea to smack Needles Kane's ice cream, because there are only two ways it will end. Either you emerge victorious over Needles Kane, or you perish at the hands of Needles Kane. Maybe this is why Kratos does not want to speak about PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale in God Of War Ragnarok.

The End of Stadia

Today marks the day Google Stadia gets discontinued. The only sad part about its demise was that it did not last as long as the Ouya.

On paper, the Google Stadia and its cloud gaming service was a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, Google's mismanagement resulted in the downfall of the Google Stadia, which ultimately lead to its discontinuation.

All we can say about Google Stadia is "Goodbye, Google Stadia! And Good Riddance!"

Justice for Zainichi Koreans

Ever wondered why Professor Oak's grandsons Blue and Gary have "Smell You Later" as their catchphrase? Could it be that Red and Ash were from a Pokemon World region based on the Korean Peninsula?

If you watch episode 18 of Ranking of Kings, we get introduced to Gyakuza, whose people are depicted as poorer and dirtier than the people of Houma. The story of Houma and Gyakuza is believed to be an allegory about the history of Japan and Korea in which Gyakuza is likened to Korea before the Japanese Annexation, and Houma is supposed to be Japan.

What if it turns out Blue and Gary bullying Red and Ash respectively is an allegory about hate crimes against Zainichi Koreans because Koreans were often seen as coming from a lower social status than Japanese people in the lowest possible levels of society? If that is true, then it's no wonder the late Takeshi Shudo proposed a depressing series finale for the Pokemon TV series, where the entire series was all just a dream from a dying, mentally ill Ash Ketchum, because almost no justice is being done against the persecution of Zainichi Koreans, which leads to many of them becoming mentally ill. Even the South Korean Ambassador to Japan is disappointed by this lack of justice for Zainichi Koreans and is often demanding that the Japanese government should stop blackmailing the South Korean government and the South Korean Embassy in Tokyo regarding Zainichi Koreans and Comfort Women. And it doesn't help when the South Korean government barely recognizes the existence of Zainichi Koreans, outside of a few cases. With unwantedness on the same level as Waluigi, it's no wonder many Zainichi Koreans become mentally ill because very few people are willing to lend a helping hand to them...

If it's official that Gary Oak's bullying of Ash Ketchum in the Pokemon Anime is an allegory about hate crimes against Zainichi Koreans, then Gary Oak being the only Nintendo antagonist named after Shigeru Miyamoto is clearly the biggest insult to the Super Mario Bros creator. Thanks a lot, Satoshi Tajiri. Now I'm losing interest in Nintendo and Anime for reasons unrelated to copyright issues...

The End of Windows 8.1

On the 10th of January, 2023, Windows 8.1 goes end of support. If you are not interested in Windows 11, please consider jumping ship to Linux instead.

Windows 8.1 was conceived to correct the mistakes that were made when Windows 8 entered the software market, and when it was released, the reception was more positive that that of Windows 8.

Farewell, Windows 8.1. You were the light that guided Microsoft out of the darkness that was their great error of releasing Windows 8 without a visible start menu button.

Pokemon Plot Twists

If we want to know why Ash Ketchum never ages, there are two reasons for that. The first reason is that Ash Ketchum is actually a Ditto who lost all memory of being a Ditto, and there have been many clues that reveal his true nature, from punching a Mewtwo when no normal human other than anybody who is in the Super Smash Bros games would do that, to disliking Ditto when he first met Ditto specialist Duplica, to Lily commanding him to transform into a Pikachu. Let's not forget that animal rights activist N, in an act of adaptational heroism, joined forces with Ash to bring Team Plasma to their knees. And to top it all up, Ash lets his Pokemon go at the end of each generation because they are his fellow Pokemon. Being a Pokemon, Ash was not meant to be a Pokemon Trainer, which is why he makes a lot of bad decisions, resulting in him losing every Pokemon League from Gen 1 to Gen 6. Ash being bullied by others is due to him being the one that is not like the others because he is a Ditto who is unable to transform back into a Ditto. Alternatively, the second reason is that Pokemon was all just a dream from a dying, mentally ill Ash, who was actually a Zainichi Korean living in a mundane world, and as you know, many Zainichi Koreans have often been bullied and persecuted until some of the became mentally ill. Who knows, both plot twists could actually be true, and if that happens when Ash Ketchum's final chapter comes to a close, we might as well shun Nintendo as payback for every single time they have wronged their customers. If you want to punish Nintendo for all the wrongs they did, please support any movement championing justice for Comfort Women and Zainichi Koreans. Time is running out for justice. There are not many Comfort Women left alive, and their numbers are dwindling...

Update: The Ash Ketchum Arc has officially ended, and it ended with "Next Time, A New Beginning". It was not the depressing series finale that the late Takeshi Shudo proposed, nor the "Ash was a Ditto all along" plot twist. However, Liko is taking up the mantle to uncover the secrets of her pendant, which might contain possible connections to the previous continuity. Who knows what secrets Liko will unravel about her pendant in Pokemon Horizons...
