Digital Footprint Erasure

What if the legacies we leave behind on the World Wide Web were not designed to withstand the test of time? That is sadly the case with GeoCities and MySpace, and possibly Facebook and Blogspot.

Back in the glory days of GeoCities, Blogspot, WordPress, MySpace, Facebook and too many others to count, Internet privacy was not a serious issue. But those days are long gone, and netizens are resorting to various means to take back their privacy, even if it means erasing their Internet legacies. After all, cybercrimes are on the rise, and large data breaches pose a severe threat. That could explain why Google came up with the crazy idea of purging inactive Google Accounts.

If there is anything that will survive the end of this cruel Age, It will be the Word of God. At the end of the day, Internet legacies are temporary, but the Word of God is forever.
