Combat Pickup Truck

Author's Note: This combat pickup truck was inspired by the technicals that fought against the Libyan Army that invaded Chad. Its design draws inspiration from the 4X4 Pickup used by the Survivors faction in Krush Kill 'n' Destroy, the GLA Technical from Command and Conquer Generals and the Dervish from the original Death Rally from 1996.

Let's face it. Desperation in times of war was what gave us the technical, a nimble combat vehicle that became a popular choice for guerrillas across the globe. If the next World War were to occur, warring factions will definitely convert pickup trucks into combat vehicles.

Games that could have saved the Sega Saturn

The Sega Saturn is best known for being a commercial failure. However, its sales figures in Japan tells a far different story from the Western markets.

But what if there were games that could have saved the Sega Saturn? If such games existed, what could those games be, and what would they look like?

Knuckles Chaotix: The only Sonic game the 32X would ever have throughout its entire lifespan. It could have done better if it was on the Sega Saturn. It was also the Sonic game that saw the return of Mighty the Armadillo, who last appeared in SegaSonic the Hedgehog, a Japan-only arcade title. This game would have ended up a Sega Saturn title if the dismal 32X did not exist...

A Segata Sanshiro martial arts game: Segata Sanshiro. The patron saint of the Sega Saturn, and someone who would have probably been considered a worthy opponent to F-Zero's Captain Falcon. He was conceived as the advertising mascot for the Sega Saturn, and this helped the Sega Saturn overtake the Nintendo 64 in the Japanese market. The Sega Saturn would probably have done far better if Segata Sanshiro had his very own martial arts game similar to Chuck Norris Superkicks.

Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000: This 32X-exclusive title received mixed reviews, mostly negative after its initial release. It has never seen a re-release to this very day. Maybe Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000 would have done far better if the 32X did not exist and the game was released on the Sega Saturn instead...

With all that said, if the Sega Saturn had these three games, the Sega Saturn's story would probably have taken a far different course. On a side note, Happy 30th Anniversary, Sega Saturn!

No Respect for Neutrality

If there was anything that would definitely perish in World War 3, it's neutrality. Not only would Russia have zero respect for the neutrality of "neutral" countries, even God does not want his holy people to be neutral in a conflict between God and the Devil.

Ditching Windows For Linux

Windows 10 support ends on 14 October 2025. However, Microsoft would like to make people pay another $30 to extend support until October 2026. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary solution. Therefore, the real solution would have to be ditching Windows completely in favour of Linux. After all, Windows viruses do not work on Linux systems, so why don't you give Linux a try?

Hype Train Disappointment

Author's Note: The template from We Never Learn has been reused yet again. This time, to emphasize about the disappointing reality of the Wii U.

In defense of Nintendo, the Wii U was launched to great fanfare. It's just that the Wii U did worse than the GameCube in sales figures terms. To make matters worse, the Wii U, like the 3DS, was Region-Locked. This gives people who have a disdain for Nintendo yet another legitimate reason to continue with their dislike of Nintendo.

Dubious Autopsy Methods

If someone were to perish from a heart attack, and his/her corpse were to be sent for an autopsy, you wouldn't want to imagine what Kano would do to the corpse if he was the one doing the autopsy.

For those who grew up with the Mortal Kombat franchise, you would remember that one of Kano's Fatality moves involve ripping off his defeated opponent's heart. Maybe that's part of the reason why some countries banned some of the more recent games in the Mortal Kombat series.

A Note from a Time Traveler

Have you ever had a strange dream where you found one of those notes left behind by time travelers? This note is just one good example. In this case, the time traveler comes from the time after Christ's Second Coming. He had managed to create a time machine to deliver a note to someone from before the Great Tribulation. The note was sent back to the past to deliver a message of hope amid the coming doom and gloom, and it had this to say about a bright future:

1. People will stop arguing about who the true successor to the Roman Empire is because the Roman Empire no longer exists.
2. Tyrannical dictatorships will cease to exist.
3. There will be no more gridlocked democracies.
4. Humanity will observe the Anno Mundi Calendar.
5. There will be no more terrorist attacks against trains.
6. Weapons of war will be converted to farming equipment.
7. Harvests will be so bountiful that the combine harvesters can barely keep up with them.
8. Food quality and flavor will be drastically improved.
9. The very first YouTube video will finally get the grand remake it had been waiting for.
10. Cat videos still rule the Internet.
11. Tetris still remains very popular.
12. All of this and many other good things that are not on the list have been made possible because the Demon King who deceived Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden had been thrown into the Bottomless Pit.

With all that said, a bright future awaits those who survived the Demon King's tyranny during the Great Tribulation, especially those who used to be the subjects of the dictators and tyrants who opposed Christ when he returned to Earth to prevent it from becoming tohu and bohu.

The Lack of Justice in Japan

In Japan, stories about struggles for justice are hard to find, if there are any at all. However, such stories about struggles for justice in Japanese history do exist. It's just that they are being relegated to the sidelines. Some of the best examples about the struggle for justice include the Country Samurai that defied Oda Nobunaga, the ninja outlaw Ishikawa Goemon, who could possibly have been the namesake of Goemon from Konami's Mystic Ninja series, the Shimabara Rebellion that terrified the Tokugawa Shogunate and inspired Sunsoft to conceive Ikki, and more recently, Hangorin No Kai's #NOlympicsAnywhere campaign that aims to deliver justice for homeless people in Tokyo. Such stories have often been considered equals with England's Robin Hood, China's Outlaws of the Marsh, and (South) Korea's Hong Gil-Dong.

However, Japan's stories about struggles for justice have often been sidelined because such opposition against tyranny have often been considered treason by whatever ruling regime Japan had in its long history. That's why such stories are being largely ignored by the majority. This could explain why all who have wronged Ash Ketchum did not get any comeuppances by the time Ash's Journey ended. Not to mention that the late Takeshi Shudo's proposed series finale wanted the Pokemon TV series to be the dying dream of a mentally ill Ash...

Imminent Doom

Whoever wins the United States Presidential Election this year, the world loses because it will enter the worst part of the end times. Even Wile E Coyote from Looney Tunes knows that The End is near...

Extremely Fatal Mistake 2

Let's face it. Masahiro Sakurai's no non-video game characters allowed policy did more good for the Smash community because Puella Magi Madoka Magica is too cruel. How cruel, you say? Magical girls becoming the witches that Kyubey instructed them to destroy because their Soul Gems got corrupted?!? If that isn't cruel, then what is? That's why Madoka Kaname had to erase the witches in order to make Kyubey upset, but she ended up erasing her very existence as well...

Extremely Fatal Mistake

If Nintendo had any reason not to kill off Gary Oak for the sake of giving Ash Ketchum any justice whatsoever, it's because Ash is not only even more of an outsider than Waluigi, but also a mentally ill leftist who hates the truth, even if it's not truth at all. However, the real reason Gary Oak does not get killed off in order to give Ash any justice at all is because Gary's death would result in the deaths of everyone in the Miyamotoverse that Shigeru Miyamoto conceived back in 1981 with the launch of the arcade version of Donkey Kong. This would include Waluigi, an ijiwaru who has always been considered an outsider by both the Mario series and the Wario series.

Bomber-Trapped

Author's Note: This comic is a four-panel remake of "Bombed Out" by Dueling Analogs, who had their final curtain call on 31 July 2018.

Remember the times when we trapped our opponents in Bomberman by surrounding them with bombs? While baddies were among the victims of such cruel tactics, VS Mode took that cruelty up to Eleven by turning such nasty tactics into a destroyer of friendships during multiplayer Bomberman sessions by surrounding our fellow players with bombs.
