Superiority over Huawei and Xiaomi

In light of how consumers from Mainland China are snubbing Huawei and Xiaomi in favour of Apple products, some Chinese consumers are saying that not only is the iPhone 8 still going strong even after nearly 10 years, they even say that Oppo is laughing at Huawei and Xiaomi right now, even if Oppo was from Mainland China just like Huawei and Xiaomi. Sure, the iPhone Duo is currently having its own problems, but even if Crackgate is worse than you think, Apple still has the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 18 to fall back to, for both of them are humiliating Huawei and Xiaomi in Mainland China right now as we speak.

For those wondering which particular Oppo phone is featured in this comic, it's the Oppo Reno 12F.

Cellphone Nostalgia

Does anyone remember the good old days of the pre-smartphone age of Samsung cellphones? Those were the real glory days of Samsung cellphones before they blew it with the infamous Samsung Galaxy Note 7 during the smartphone age of cellphones. Especially when Samsung's cellphones from the pre-smartphone era had wonderful startup and shutdown animations.

Ptolemy Costume Guide

#Costober concludes with a Taito-themed costume guide. But this is no ordinary costume guide. This one is based on a Taito arcade game that not only never left Japan until it was re-released in 2006 as part of the Taito Legends series, but it also had a Famicom port that was never released at all.

The Fairyland Story has to be one of those forgotten Arcade titles from Taito, the very same company that was known for Space Invaders. However, what we do not know was that The Fairyland Story was a predecessor to Bubble Bobble. Not only that, its main protagonist, Ptolemy, was also one of those female protagonists that predated Metroid's Samus. The game, however, never left Japan until the release of Taito Legends 2 for the PlayStation 2, XBox and Microsoft Windows as well as Taito Legends: Power-Up for the PlayStation Portable.

Super Metroid Ending Costume Guide

Author's Note: This #Costober costume guide is a belated tribute to the 40th Anniversary of the Metroid series.

So you've completed Super Metroid for the SNES, right? Even better still, you've beaten the game in less than 3 hours. What kind of ending do you get? You get to see Samus in a black bikini, of course!

Vault Boy Costume Guide

#Costober continues with another costume guide, and Today's one is about the poster boy of Bethesda's Fallout series. Yes, we are talking about the Vault Boy.

If there was anyone who best represents the Fallout series, it's always the Vault Boy. He's so iconic that not only was he a DLC Mii Gunner Costume in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, he even got an origin story in the Fallout TV Series as well.

Madiesha Costume Guide

It's been several days since I last did a costume guide for #Costober, but I'm back with some new costume guides.

For those wondering who Madiesha is, she's the Romanian leotard-clad gymnast from a forgotten Taiwanese MS-DOS fighting game called Tough Guy. Obscure games need some love too...

Armor Piercing Throw

Characters getting struck by a Rune Dagger thrown at them, from left to right: Female noob wearing bronze armor (RuneScape), Sir Arthur (Ghosts'n Goblins), Low-level female archer wearing Green Shivermail armor (MapleStory).

If a Rune Dagger from RuneScape was to be thrown at anyone, low-level armor such as the Bronze Platebody from RuneScape (Old School RuneScape's version being featured in this comic) and the Shivermail armor from MapleStory would get easily penetrated. The flimsy armor from Ghosts'n Goblins would just break apart if it got penetrated by the Rune Dagger that was thrown at it.

Peter Pepper Costume Guide

The costume guides for #Costober are done for now. But you do not know when it will be back. Maybe you do not have to wait until next October. Who knows...

If you are thinking about food during #Costober, why not dress up as Peter Pepper from BurgerTime? He's a great burger chef after all.

Bonk Costume Guide

#Costober continues with yet another costume guide. One that makes us want to take down villains by butting heads.

We thought the Bonk series was extinct when Bonk: Brink of Extinction was cancelled as a result of Hudson Soft being assimilated into Konami. We were wrong. When Konami announced that Bonk's Adventure and Bonk's Revenge are going to be part of the TurboGrafx-16 Mini's game lineup, it turns out Konami still remembers the Hudson Soft library. So if you want to be dressed up as a caveman, Bonk is your best choice.

By the way, this costume guide for Bonk is about Bonk's in-game attire as it appeared in various games in the Bonk series such as Bonk's Adventure, Bonk's Revenge, and Bonk's Return.

Thundra Costume Guide

#Costober continues with another costume guide, and Today's costume is from an obscure fighting game from the Atari Jaguar. That's right. We're talking about Kasumi Ninja, the one game known for Angus McGreggor and the fireballs that come out from under his kilt. But that is not the only thing Atari's Kasumi Ninja is known for.

This costume guide is about Kasumi Ninja's bikini-clad lady Thundra. She's one of two ladies who bring fanservice to the Atari Jaguar, with Ultra Vortek's Volcana being the other fanservice lady.

If it wasn't for Angus McGreggor's kilt fireballs and Thundra's black bikini, Kasumi Ninja would have been Obscure with a Capital O. And it doesn't help when this obscurity was eclipsed by Ultra Vortek...

Silver Pegasus Costume Guide

Author's Note: This Costume Guide for the Silver Pegasus from Heroes of Might and Magic 3 only included the female rider's costume and not her winged steed's armor.

It's October, and this means one thing. It's not #Inktober. Not #Scaretober. Not #Spooktober. Not #Ghostober. Not #Goretober. Not #Swordtober. And most definitely not #Sinktober. It's time for #Costober. Which means it's time for costume guides.

I do not understand why the Silver Pegasus from Heroes of Might and Magic 3 has the female rider wear a breastplate that leaves her midriff exposed and a pair of shorts that look like panties. Other than that, it's actually a great costume, especially when the gloves and boots are silver.

Thinking of other things other than other ladies 10

I'm back with another comic about my OCs in a lawyer-friendly version of the "Thinking about other women" meme. Hopefully this one will be my last "Thinking about the other ladies" comic amid creative burnout and a world whose turmoil continues to grow.

Ever wondered why Charlie Brown was portrayed as a relatable underdog who never wins in the Peanuts comics? That's because Charlie Brown and Charles M Schulz were one and the same. According to Craig Schulz, Charlie Brown was Charles M Schulz's real self, while Snoopy was what the Peanuts author wanted to be. Even then, Snoopy rarely wins because Charlie Brown and Snoopy were two sides of the same coin that was Peanuts author Charles M Schulz, who had been fighting an unwinnable battle against depression until he died in 2000 after losing his battle with colon cancer.

While everyone praises the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) for resurrecting the video game industry, some historians claim that the video game industry if the NES did not come to rescue the video game industry, it would have ended up looking more like the video gaming scene in South Korea and Taiwan, where PC gaming is more dominant.

If there was anyone who did more damage in monetary terms to Poland than Germany or Russia, it has to be Sweden. Sure, Germany and Russia did far more property damage, but Sweden's Deluge crippled Poland to the point it lost its status as a great power. A large chunk of the items looted by Sweden were never returned. While people talk about Germany razing 85% of Warsaw when the 1939 Invasion and the Warsaw Rebellions of 1943 and 1944 are taken into account, nobody talked about Sweden totally razing Warsaw during the Deluge.

Recently, Disney's theme parks have been witnessing fights taking place in their queuing areas. These fights are tarnishing Disney's tarnished name, and some Disney fans are unhappy with these fights breaking out, to the point Disney and some of its fans are calling for these fights to cease.

While the Atari 5200 had a defective controller and a subpar game library, it actually had far better sales figures than the Atari Jaguar. The Atari Jaguar only had 250000 units sold, while the Atari 5200 had 1000000 units sold.

The Sega Master System outsold the Sega Dreamcast because Brazil gave more love for the Sega Master System via TecToy. The Sega Master System ended up having 8 million units sold in Brazil, resulting in the Sega Master System sales figures being more than the Sega Dreamcast's 9 million units sold.

Gol Flight 1907

It's been 20 years since a mid-air collision triggered Brazil's worst aviation crisis. A business jet manufactured by Embraer collided with a Boeing 737 above the Amazon Rainforest. The Boeing 737 that was in the collision was Gol Flight 1907, a flight that ended in tragedy, and worst of all, started the Brazilian Aviation Crisis. At the time of the crash, Gol Flight 1907 was Brazil's worst air disaster with a death toll of 154 people. While all seven passengers and crew on the Embraer business jet survived, they have been left with PTSD and survivor guilt that still haunts them to this very day...

Thinking of other things other than other ladies 9

Hey, folks. I'm back once more with yet another comic about my OCs in a lawyer-friendly version of the "Thinking about other women" meme.

Ever wondered why Ash Ketchum was portrayed by the Pokemon Anime's writers as an eternal underdog who could never win a Pokemon League from Gen 1 to Gen 6? That's because Ash Ketchum was not only named after Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri, but Ash Ketchum was Satoshi Tajiri's real self. Satoshi Tajiri was always an underdog, and Ash Ketchum was the embodiment and personification of Satoshi Tajiri's underdog spirit.

Speaking of the Pokemon Anime, there is more than enough evidence to prove that Porygon was a scapegoat who was framed for the infamous "Electric Soldier Porygon" epilepsy incident. Why was Porygon not the real culprit? Because none of Porygon's moves in the Pokemon games are capable of causing the epilepsy incident.

All of us are familiar with Clow Reed splitting into two leading to the events of Cardcaptor Sakura. But what we do not realize was that Clow Reed split into two after the dark events of Chapter 200 of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, where Princess Sakura was devoured by a Death Seal placed inside her by Fei Wang Reed.

The Tower of Druaga TV series was more than just Gonzo's love letter to the 1984 Namco arcade classic. It helped to revive interest in the Namco arcade game it was based on. Not to mention that The Tower of Druaga TV series wrapped up in 2009, the year of the 25th Anniversary of The Tower of Druaga arcade game.

While the Famicom version of Karateka was mediocre, the Atari 7800 version of Karateka was nearly unplayable...

Konosuba's Aqua is a nearly useless goddess who should not even be in some of the worst possible places such as the Plants Vs Zombies suburb, the world of Golden Axe, and the realm of the Doom demons. Her lack of real combat capabilities would cause her to run around screaming "KAZUMA!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!" is she was in Doom, Golden Axe, or Plants Vs Zombies...

What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn

Author's Note: All copyrights for the characters in this comic go to their respective owners.

I'm very sure some characters would have said "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn" if they were in the Plants Vs Zombies neighbourhood at night. Here are some characters that would have said "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn" if they hear the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies say "The Zombies Are Coming!":

Simon Belmont: Zombies have always been a staple opponent of the Belmont Clan in their war against Dracula, and the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies would be no different from the zombies in the Castlevania series. As for why the Castlevania II: Simon's Quest version of Simon Belmont was picked for this comic, that's because the quote "What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse" originated from that game, and the comic's title is a Castlevania-meets-Plants Vs Zombies-themed variation of that iconic quote. Of course he would say "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn" if the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies say "The Zombies Are Coming!"

Sir Arthur: Speaking of retro heroes who fight against zombies, Sir Arthur is a knight in flimsy armour who keeps getting stripped to his underwear when his armour breaks apart. He too would say "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn" if the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies say "The Zombies Are Coming!" because the armour will break if Sir Arthur were to bump into a zombie in the Ghosts'n Goblins series.

Luigi: Mario's cowardly brother is afraid of ghosts. This means Luigi being afraid of zombies would be no different either. He would definitely say "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn" if the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies say "The Zombies Are Coming!"

Peppino Spaghetti: This pizza chef definitely does not want zombies anywhere near his pizzeria. He would scream "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn!" if the zombies were to announce their arrival...

Wile E Coyote: This coyote has endured megatons of misfortune in The Road Runner Show. If the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies were to come for Wile E Coyote's brains, he would hold a sign the reads "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn."

Aqua (Konosuba): This pathetic goddess would be screaming "Kazuma! KAZUMA!!!!! Help Meeeee!!!!! What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn!!!!!" if the zombies were to say "The Zombies Are Coming!" Then again, her purification powers would have been the bane of the zombies if her cowardice did not get in her way...

Doremi Harukaze: As if being unlucky wasn't bad enough, if Doremi Harukaze was dropped into the Plants Vs Zombies neighbourhood, she would definitely be running around screaming "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn!!!" if the zombies were to announce their arrival.

Purple Star: She's a mermaid princess. She's a magical girl. But if there was one thing Purple Star from Rainbow Bubblegem was not prepared for, it's taking down the zombies from the Plants Vs Zombies series. She would scream "What A Horrible Night To Have Zombies On The Lawn!" if the zombies announced their arrival. But she would probably prove her prowess as a magical girl, even if she had never faced the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies before.

TL;DR, Wile E Coyote, Aqua and Doremi Harukaze would go into panic stations if they had an encounter with the zombies from Plants Vs Zombies.

On a related note, Happy 40th Anniversary, Castlevania! Have at thee, zombies!

Creative Freedom Glory Days

To DeviantArt User GoddessPrincessLulu and Pixiv User ARTFONPRO, you are not alone in missing the glory days of creative freedom. I also miss the glory days of creative freedom as well.

For those wondering who these characters are, the dark-skinned girl is Princess Lulu, the princess persona of DeviantArt User GoddessPrincessLulu, and the girl wearing glasses is AF-Tan, an OC conceived by Pixiv User ARTFONPRO. Both of them are at the brick wall from Peanuts talking about how much they miss the glory days of creative freedom.

The Final Tour

Today marks the beginning of the end for Mario Kart Tour because it's the day Mario Kart Tour's 183rd and final tour begins.

If there is anything that will be missed when Mario Kart Tour shuts down, it will be the game resurrecting the unused Dokan Course from Mario Kart DS as Piranha Plant Pipeline, Kamek becoming a playable character in a Mario Kart game after being omitted from Mario Kart 64, some wacky new costumes that could just end up in the Super Smash Bros series if given the chance, and the opportunity for the Mario characters and the Miis to visit real-world locations. For the Mario characters, it's like revisiting various locations from Mario is Missing!, Mario's Time Machine and the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series. For the Miis, it's more like revisiting certain Hot Spots in Wii Party's Globe Trot. Of the 14 real-world cities visited by anyone from the Mario Kart Tour roster, Bangkok was the only city that was not visited by both Mario characters and Miis before Mario Kart Tour (Singapore, where I hail from, is a Hot Spot in Wii Party's Globe Trot).

Even after Mario Kart Tour drives off into the sunset on 30 September 2026, Nintendo did not rule out the possibility of content from Mario Kart Tour making a reappearance in later games. We've already got several costumes from Mario Kart Tour in Mario Kart World. Nabbit, Charging Chuck, Monty Mole and Hammer Bro are playable in Mario Kart World. And let's not forget the content found in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, meaning elements of Mario Kart Tour will live on after the game hits the end of the road.

So long, Mario Kart Tour, and thanks for all the postcards from fourteen real-world cities!

Update: Mario Kart Tour ceased operations at 2:00 PM Singapore Time (SGT). However, Past Tours' Stats will be viewable on 1st of October, 2026.

GameCube Silver Anniversary

25 years ago, Nintendo released a cube-shaped console that defined portability. We are talking about the GameCube, the console that gave us Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Bros Melee, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix, F-Zero GX and Mario Kart Double Dash.

The reason this comic has a silver GameCube in an orange background is because a quarter-century anniversary is called a silver anniversary, while the orange background is a reference to the Japan-only orange GameCube. And this comic marks the 25th Anniversary of the Nintendo GameCube's release in Japan.

Happy 25th Anniversary, Nintendo GameCube! May your legacy live on in the Nintendo Switch 2's official GameCube emulator via the Nintendo Classics series!

Remembering The Twin Towers

Credits to The Spriters Resource User Superjustinbros for the background of the New York stage from the Arcade version of City Connection.

It's been 25 years since the worst terrorist attack in history. The World Trade Center Twin Towers collapsed because of a dastardly terrorist attack against New York City that was drafted and planned in Germany, the loser who started World War 2. That's why the two towers of the old World Trade Center in the New York level from the Arcade version of Jaleco's City Connection wants Jaleco fans to remember it.

Revenge of Human Slop

Author's Note: All of these "low quality" artworks are all made by humans. That's why this comic is about the revenge of human slop.

In light of Cara getting hit by unlawful scraping, it's time for Conservatives, Centrists and Progressives to unite against AI slop, and for human slop to exact its revenge against AI slop. So here are some so-called "human slop" images that I came up with to attack AI slop.

For those wondering what Cara is, it's a DeviantArt alternative that aims to take back the glory days of Pre-2010 DeviantArt by giving it all the functionalities of ArtStation and a strong Anti-AI stance.

The Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man was often considered a terrible game that contributed to the 1983 North American Video Game Crash. This disgrace in the eyes of Namco would have been called a "kusoge" in Namco's home country of Japan. However, it's considered human slop because it was coded by human programmers.

Without the Programmable Character Generator chip, the Sharp MZ-700 version of Mappy would have been considered human slop. However, in defense of its programmer GAMEROMAN, its very accurate gameplay was the reason Namco decided to publish it.

The Bronze Dagger from RuneScape has often been considered one of the weakest weapons in the game. Even then, this weak weapon is still superior compared to AI slop because it was designed by humans.

ACME products are mostly duds, and the dart bombs that Wile E Coyote deployed in The Road Runner Show episode "Lickety-Splat" are no exception. Back in 1961, they may have foreshadowed the dark future of exploder drone warfare that we are living in now, but that was in a time long before the existence of AI, meaning ACME's duds are considered "human slop".

Famiclone multicarts, especially those 99999-in-1 games, are full of knockoffs and broken ROM Hacks that were not coded by AI, meaning these bootleg products are obviously human slop.

While the Fair Use symbol would have been considered ugly depending on perspective, it was still created by human artists.

Inspired by a fellow Cara artist, I had this idea to come up with a picture where the brown wedge of human slop attacked the vicious circle of AI slop.

The Anti-AI logo has become a universal symbol of the #NoAI campaign, and it looks dull and drab. Even then, human slop was meant to be dull and drab, and the Anti-AI logo meets this criteria.

TL;DR, if there was anything that Conservatives, Centrists and Progressives can agree on, they would all agree that AI slop should go die in a ditch. So let's all reject AI slop and embrace human slop.
