Although the Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild is now the Link for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, none of his amiibo costumes were present in the game (even if the alternate costume limit is not the reason), mainly to avoid colour confusion with Link's Hero of the Wild costume, which was his green outfit in Breath of The Wild, which is already in Super Smash Bros Ultimate as one of Link's alternate costumes. Also, the Wind Hero set will make Link resemble Toon Link from Wind Waker, who is already in every Smash Bros game since Brawl, so adding more alternate costumes for Link will create more confusion.
