Ultimate Billiards

Imagine combining 8-ball, blackball and snooker into a brand new billiards variation.

For those who do not know what blackball is, it is the British version of 8-ball, where instead of solid and stripe coloured balls, the balls are either yellow or red.

This brand new billiards variation has a scoring system based on the rotation rule.

The scoring system for this new billiards variation is as follows:

US 8-ball balls: points scored are based on number written on ball
Red ball (Snooker, UK 8-ball): 1 point
Yellow ball (Snooker, UK 8-ball): 2 points
Green ball: 3 points
Brown ball: 4 points
Blue ball: 5 points
Pink ball: 6 points
Black ball (Snooker, UK 8-ball): 8 points

If this new billiards variation gets any official approval, who knows what levels of havoc will be unleashed on the pool table... Perhaps it will revitalise billiards tournaments of all kinds.

Now if only Marvelous, the owner of G-Mode (including G-Mode's Data East catalogue) can revive the Side Pocket series, and possibly add this billiards variant in a potential reboot of Side Pocket in addition to possibly adding some Data East characters as playable characters in the game. In fact, I would give this billiards variant a try in real life as well as play a reboot version of Side Pocket, given that I had played the Game Boy version.
