The final episode of Pokemon: To Be a Pokemon Master ended with Ash "Satoshi" Ketchum coming to the revelation that in order to be a Pokemon Master, one must befriend all the Pokemon. Given that becoming a Pokemon Master is the moment right before death, it makes sense that Ash's journey ends after the Grand Finale.
However, the biggest disappointment is that there was no final farewell message to Ash "Satoshi" Ketchum from his namesake Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of the Pokemon series. Either Satoshi Tajiri has decided to move on or he has all but officially ended all relations with Nintendo. Perhaps it's time we officially called off the #JusticeForAshKetchum campaign on social media because Satoshi Tajiri will eventually admit that he can never surpass Shigeru Miyamoto.
