Why does the European Union want to attack Fair Use and free speech on the Internet? Because the European Union is ruled by unelected bureaucrats that hate Fair Use and free speech on the Internet. That's why the European Union is establishing an anti-Anglo-Saxon, anti-democratic, anti-free-enterprise regulatory system built on the basis of the inquisitorial Roman Law, where accused suspects are guilty until proven innocent, in contrast to English Law, where accused suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
