If there was one major commercial failure that was made by Samsung that surpassed the Nuon, it has to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Before the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's infamous exploding batteries, the biggest failure made by Samsung was the Nuon, a DVD/game console platform that tried too hard to be both a DVD Player and a gaming console just like Sony's PlayStation 2, but ended up a commercial failure. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7, however, took commercial failure to a fiery new level. There were injuries and property damage due to the battery fires. Thankfully, no one died from this fiasco. There was, however, a huge recall due to the fires. As a result, battery safety was drastically improved.
China's aircraft carriers are struggling with combat readiness issues. Some analysts say that Mainland China will have no more aircraft carriers by the time they conquer Taiwan.
