As disappointing as it sounds, what if it turns out Ash Ketchum's original nemesis Gary Oak and everyone who has humiliated Ash throughout his 25-plus year journey in the Pokemon TV series were the personifications of the Japanese proverb "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down", and calling for the deaths of the humiliators in the name of justice for the underdog protagonist was a Communist conspiracy all along? What if it turns out the death of Gary Oak will not only cause Pallet Town to collapse into chaos as a result of his late father having no successor, but also cause the Miyamotoverse that Gary's namesake Shigeru Miyamoto conceived to perish? And when the Miyamotoverse dies, will Waluigi die with it, or lose his eternal underdog identity and end up with absolutely nothing? Who knows what nightmares will emerge if Gary Oak and all who have humiliated Ash throughout his entire journey were to all die in the name of justice?
