Programmed Sentience

R.O.B. the NES Robot was initially an additional accessory for the NES specially designed for Gyromite and Stack-Up, and was therefore not sentient. However, all of that changed with the release of Mario Kart DS in 2005. Nintendo had to reprogram it to have sentience in order to make it a playable character in that handheld racing game. The sentience R.O.B. was programmed with carried on into the Super Smash Bros series starting with Super Smash Bros Brawl. Not bad for a robotic accessory that was specially designed for playing two NES games.

A Ghost Town Named Neo Tiew

If there was any part of Singapore that carries the title of "ghost town", it has to be Neo Tiew Estate. The entire area was en-bloc in 2002, with the residents moved to Jurong West. Since then, the estate is currently used by the Singapore Armed Forces for FIBUA (Fighting in Built-Up Areas) training.

Opinions on Sukumizu Inklings

I'm very sure the female Inklings from the Splatoon series would love to wear the school swimsuit worn by Ushio Kofune from Summer Time Rendering. The biggest problem, however, is that the Inklings are severely hydrophobic. This explains why you don't get to see Inklings in swimwear outside of Splatoon fan art.

Sukumizu Daioh Rendering

Go figure that the sukumizu school swimsuits from Azumanga Daioh and Summer Time Rendering bear strong resemblances to conventional one-piece swimsuits unlike the average Anime sukumizu school swimsuit.

Taegeuk Amulet

Remember that comic where Ash Ketchum's original nemesis Gary Oak was stabbed by fascist and communist bayonets? What if it turns out that Gary Oak's Taegeuk amulet was originally supposed to be red and blue? If that is true, then it's possible that the Pokemon TV series production team could have changed it to yellow and green to avoid getting into trouble with South Korea.

Lack of Sentience

If there was any reason Jenova made zero appearances in Wooden Plank Studios (including Patreon-exclusive bonus panels) by the time that webcomic had its final curtain call on 9 July 2024, it would have to be Jenova having no sentience whatsoever, unlike Kirby, Mystique, Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Polygon Man, Dr Wily's Robot Masters, Ultimecia, Kuja, the Chimera aliens from Sony's Resistance series, Tabuu and Galeem.
