The Truth About New Year's Day

If there was any legitimate reason to shun New Year's Day, the Bible may have the solutions for you. For example, the Vernal Equinox, commonly called the Spring Equinox, is the true start of the new year. Then we have New Year's resolutions failing because real change takes a lot more time than just mere resolutions. It gets even worse when you realize that New Year's holidays see many cases of drink driving incidents, with some of them being fatal.

If God wants us to not welcome the New Year on January 1, maybe we should go back to saying "Happy First Day of Spring" instead. Maybe going back to the Anno Mundi Calendar and observing the Spring Equinox will set right everything wrong with our calendar.

New Year Confusion

The Roman Calendar has confused the whole world by relegating the Anno Mundi Calendar to the sidelines. No one can start anew in the middle of winter. Even God knows that, which is why his New Year begins on the Vernal Equinox, which is synonymous with the First Day of Spring. The Vernal Equinox gets its name from the Latin word vernare which means to bloom. Unfortunately, Julius Caesar relegated the Anno Mundi Calendar to the sidelines by moving the first day of the new year to January 1. But his assassination did not do any justice for the Spring Equinox, because the Roman Empire refused to move the first day of the new year back to the Spring Equinox. This resulted in lots of confusion, and humanity has been paying the price since then.

Italian Opinions

Let's face it. Italians staunchly believe that pineapples should not have been pizza toppings. They will get upset over this. But if you ask Italians about how horrible their prison camps in World War 2 were, they would have no idea what you are talking about. In reality, Italy's prison camps were so horrible that they make the German and Japanese prison camps look less harsh in comparison. This truth, however, has been cast aside due to Italy performing poorly in combat during World War 2, and many successful reconciliation attempts between Italy and its former enemies. Of course people will forget about Italy's war crimes due to their subpar performance in World War 2, the reconciliation attempts, and the great food Italy serves up.

Good Advice from the Lake Panzer

Author's Note: Who would have thought the Panzer of the Lake meme got a Girls und Panzer version?

The Panzer of the Lake's truth has been revealed, and it was about the failures of Civil Rights.

Did Civil Rights really solve the racism problem? No. Civil Rights failed in that objective. The truth is, the Civil Rights movement was started by American communists who have no interest in eliminating racism. The communists, however, did show sympathy for non-whites because they were being bullied and persecuted by racism, so they introduced a so-called noble cause that aims to eliminate racism. In reality, however, Civil Rights was not about eradicating racism for the good of everyone, but rather, a communist strategy of divide and conquer. This means Civil Rights actually failed more than just non-whites. It failed humanity as a whole.

Great Warships that did not fight in a war

Not all warships get to fight in wars. There are some warships that never get to fire in anger at any foe at all. Here are just several warships that I think were great warships that never had a chance to fight in a real war.

USS Nautilus (SSN-571): America's (and the world's) first nuclear-powered submarine was a game changer when it was first launched. Its was made famous through the first underwater voyage under the North Pole. Other than that and an embarrassing collision with aircraft carrier USS Essex, USS Nautilus (SSN-571) had a largely uneventful career. After it was decommissioned, USS Nautilus (SSN-571) was preserved as a museum ship.

Sweden's last class of cruisers, the Tre Kronor-class, did not get to fire a shot at any enemy vessel in anger at all, mainly due to Sweden being neutral in World War 2, as well as Russia choosing not to go to war against Sweden during the Cold War. Even under the Chilean flag, the Tre Kronor-class did not get to fire a shot in anger.

The De Zeven Provinciën-class cruisers from the Netherlands was another class of cruisers that did not get to fight against Russia or any of its clients during the Cold War. Even when in the service of the Peruvian Navy, the De Zeven Provinciën-class cruisers did not get to fire a shot in anger because whatever conflicts Peru was having during the time when they had the De Zeven Provinciën-class cruisers did not take place anywhere near coastal areas.

Britain's Tiger-class cruisers did not even get to fight in the Falklands War at all.

Chile's Almirante-class destroyers, like their Tre Kronor-class cruiser Almirante Latorre, never got to fight in any war at all.

Due to Canada staying out of wars in the years between the Korean War and the Gulf War, many Canadian warships did not get to fire a shot in anger. The Mackenzie-class destroyers were among those Canadian warships because they were not part of the Canadian flotilla involved in the Gulf War.

Italy's Impetuoso-class destroyers never fired in anger because the only communists that Italy had to fight against were not the armies of communist countries but Italian communists who use underhanded or subversive means to overthrow the enemies of communism in Italy.

These are just several great warships that did not get to fight in a war. There are many more great warships that did not get to fight in any conflict at all. Then again, any warship that stays out of war stays out of harm's way altogether, if the naval battles in World of Warships or War Thunder do not count, that is.

Toxic Fandoms

Even Groundskeeper Willie knows that the Street Fighter fandom has become very toxic. But he wouldn't like it if Principal Seymour Skinner calls Street Fighter fans a contentious people and would threaten Principal Skinner by saying that Ryu will hurl a Shinku Hadoken in his face for saying such words.

Deutschland The Underhanded

Do you want to know why rogue states administered by communist regimes that dislike us exist? Do you want to know the real truth about the communist infiltration of the Anglosphere and the Israeli state? What about the communists' contribution to Hitler's rise to power? All of this has to do with Germany sending Lenin back to Russia to start a socialist revolution during World War 1. Because of Lenin, Russia exited World War 1 and was plunged into a civil war as a result, with the consequences of that civil war still being felt to this day.

The Reason to forget Birthdays

Truth be told, Christ did not want us to remember his birthday. He, like the many heroes and heroines of the Bible, did not celebrate birthdays. Maybe it's because of the biblical accounts of birthdays being associated with somebody's death, namely Pharaoh's chief baker and John the Baptist. Also, a fair amount of sources confirm that Christ was born near the Autumn Equinox and not near the Winter Solstice. Therefore, forgetting one's birthday, including your own, is more forgivable than following traditions that are ungodly.

Meatball Debate

The Italian Meatballs Vs Swedish Meatballs debate was clearly unnecessary. Both meatballs taste great. They're just served with different sauces, namely tomato-based pasta sauces for Italian Meatballs and beef gravy with lingonberry sauce and mashed potatoes for Swedish Meatballs. Therefore, the Internet should stop debating over which meatballs are better and admit that both are tasty in their own right.

Intelligence Deficiency

Seriously, why does Anime want to have protagonists with below average intelligence? When will Anime protagonists with above average intelligence get any real recognition? Or are dumb protagonists going to be the majority of Anime protagonists for many years to come?

When Undressing Others Is Inappropriate...

Pulling down anybody's pants or skirt is clearly unacceptable because nobody likes it when their undies get exposed. The problem is, even if pantsing gets outlawed, the regulators will be having a very tough time enforcing such regulations.

Japanese Priorities

Author's Note: Today marks the 86th Anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre. To commemorate the anniversary of this tragedy, here's a comic about why Japan isn't serious about preserving the past when it comes to yesteryear's video games and evidence of Japan's war crimes. Also, this comic was created using the Screaming Cagney Carnation meme from Cuphead.

While software piracy is morally wrong, it is, however, one of the few methods of preserving video games that could eventually be lost forever to the sands of time. But in Japan, software piracy is considered an act of cyber-terrorism. Maybe this could explain all of the cease and desists issued against people who show their love for Nintendo through fan games and music preservation.

Classifying software piracy as an act of terrorism, however, has got nothing compared to the far-right going ballistic over the truth about Japan's war crimes being revealed. While asking most Japanese people about the destruction of war crimes evidence will leave them puzzled, the far-right, however, will get upset over the truth about the destruction of documents related to Japanese war crimes. In fact, it has always been the far-right that has been intimidating anyone who exposes the truth about the war crimes that Japan committed during World War 2. No wonder reparations from Japan are not coming to all the countries that have suffered under their tyranny. Even Russia paid reparation debts to South Korea in T-80 tanks and BMP-3 armoured fighting vehicles shortly after the end of the Cold War. Maybe Japan should pay reparations in video game consoles that performed poorly in the Japanese market such as Atari and Microsoft consoles to some of the countries that were oppressed by them. Perhaps this will be how Japan can reconcile with some of the countries that they have wronged during World War 2...

Females Against Feminism

Let's face it. Feminism was never really about empowering women. In fact, feminism's attack on motherhood is so bad that even the worst mothers in video game history have got nothing on the true extent of the damage feminism has done to society as a whole. To make matters worse, feminism may have contributed more to declining birth rates than barren wombs.

There used to be a time when magical girls were little matriarchs with attitude. In recent years, however, magical girls have become poster girls for feminism. Maybe this could explain why Masahiro Sakurai prohibits non-video game characters from taking part in Super Smash Bros. He is not against female characters in Smash, but he knows that many Anime magical girls were conceived to promote feminism. Therefore, we should adhere to Sakurai's policies and not demand that he add Anime magical girls into Smash, aside from Panel de Pon's Lip.

While the Matriarchy is just as important as the Patriarchy, matriarchs are supposed to be the co-regents of patriarchs. But feminism wants to use the cases of men mistreating women as an excuse for turning matriarchs against the Patriarchy. Although men who mistreat women are clearly in the wrong, this is not an excuse for feminism's deceitful agenda. At the end of the day, feminism needs to be erased, because it has failed humanity.

Disney Death Throes

Once Upon a Studio was actually good. In fact, it could be the last good Disney show ever produced, because Disney is beyond saving now. This will be bad news for Mickey Mouse's successor Figment, and Figment may have been the inspiration for Spyro the Dragon.

Leftists do not believe in justice, equality or racial harmony, and it was a mistake for Disney to appease them. The end result was a catastrophe. Many of Disney's movies turned out to be flops in the box office because Disney chose to promote the leftists' agenda instead of making wholesome family entertainment. At the end of the day, leftism's atheistic agenda will always betray everyone, whether our skin is black, brown, red, yellow or white.

It's only a matter of time before Disney is as dead as its co-founders, and when that sad day comes, historians can only wonder how this company's demise could have been prevented in the first place.

The Famine of God's Word

According to Amos 8:11, a famine is coming, not a famine of food, nor a thirst for water, but a famine of the Word of God. Imagine a dystopian society where the Word of God is illegal. This kind of famine is worse than a famine where food and drink are scarce. This in turn will lead to an apocalyptic face-off between two conglomerates of autocratic demagogues that will see nukes being fired in anger. Such a situation will become so bad that Christ will have to return to deport the chief baddies to the Lake of Hellfire and obliterate their pawns with the sword that comes out of his mouth. Otherwise, no flesh will be saved alive...

Swimming Pool Matriarch Visual Gag Variations 2

Another Matriarch of the Swimming Pool visual gag variations comic? Looks like this comic could become a new Internet meme.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pyra wears a tiny pair of shorts. It was so tiny that she had to wear a pantyhose when she became playable in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. However, Pyra's tiny shorts are actually comfortable. They just look rather silly, though.

People wonder how Tekken elements such as Kazuya Mishima being a playable character as well as a Heihachi Mishima Wig for Mii Fighters and a Heihachi Mishima Mii Brawler costume could be included in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Well, Tekken's history on Nintendo platforms began with Tekken Advance for the Game Boy Advance, although this was eclipsed by the Wii U Edition of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in terms of popularity, but still, as the first Tekken game on a Nintendo platform, Tekken Advance remains an important footnote in Tekken history.

Did you know that kokeshi dolls were the main inspiration for the Miis that became the digital avatars for the Nintendo Wii, 3DS, Wii U and Switch consoles? Unlike the kokeshi dolls which do not have arms or legs, Miis have protruding limbs for arms and legs.

Relegating an advertising mascot to the sidelines for 17 years for being too scary is surely not the right thing to do for Ken Kutaragi. That was how Polygon Man became a malevolent being who seeks to take over Sony.

The original Street Fighter had Ryu and Ken as playable characters. It also had many ports, most of which are almost unplayable as compared to the barely playable Arcade version, and Ken does not even appear in the Amiga and Amstrad CPC versions.

While the MSX computer was associated with Sony and Panasonic, Fujitsu was also one of the manufacturers of the MSX computer. In fact, Fujitsu manufactured the MSX as the FM-X alongside their competing computing range, in the form of the FM-7, FM-8 and FM-77.

The Last Day Before The Purge

Author's Note: Some regions are not even past midnight yet at the time this comic was uploaded. Therefore, the regions that are already past midnight have less than 24 hours left before 1 December 2023. Also, the "Dawn Of The Final Day" image comes from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

This is it. The purge that everybody dreaded is near. However, dormant YouTube channels are exempted and therefore, will not be purged. Meanwhile, Gab users who are calling for internet users to de-Google their digital footprint would probably be laughing at the possibility that Google is running out of space and needs to declutter their servers. How this turns out, we do not know...

Update: The purge did happen, and there were cases of Blogspot blogs disappearing as a result. Looks like internet users are going to end up like Smeagol from Lord of the Rings, speaking about how Google betrayed internet users. In other words, not only did Blogspot have its "MySpace" moment, this incident will prove that Google has turned its back on the internet users.

No Justice for Comfort Women

Sometimes, bad people die in their sleep without receiving any comeuppance whatsoever, and those who humiliated the comfort women are no exception. All of this has to be due to war criminals being acquitted or punished lightly, which could explain why Japan still refuses to apologize for all the wrongs they did to the Asian countries they subjugated, terrorized and humiliated. Therefore, expect the last comfort woman to die without receiving any justice whatsoever in our lifetime.

Then again, almost all of the people who have wronged the comfort women are dead, and those that are not dead are at Death's Door. Even then, we should forget about justice for comfort women because if I had to choose between letting the villains who humiliated the comfort women die from natural causes and delivering justice for comfort women, I would go for the former, because the latter had already been entangled by feminism, which is no longer seen as the noble cause it had been portrayed to be but rather it had left us with dysfunctional families.

Not So Honorable

Ever wondered why Japan hasn't been sincere with their apologies for World War 2 atrocities? What if it turns out that not many of Japan's war criminals were punished because they were needed to be the counterbalance against Asian communism? If that is true, then this could explain why those who have been wronged by Japan during World War 2 will not have any justice at all, and also the reason the Yasukuni Shrine that the Allies ordered to be demolished still stands to this day.

Swimming Pool Matriarch Visual Gag Variations

Author's Note: This comic was inspired by the Senpai of the Pool meme, which in turn was inspired by the Panzer of the Lake meme.

Ah, yes. Nothing like a visual gag variations comic. It gets even better when combined with existing Internet memes.

You do remember that comic where leotards and lingerie looked similar to female swimwear. Well, it turns out leotards and lingerie did influenced modern female swimwear designs. That's why leotards and lingerie look similar to female swimsuits.

Pulling down anybody's pants or skirt is no longer funny and can get you into trouble with the long arm of the law. Even the bikini top falling off cliche is not funny anymore and some call for wardrobe malfunctions and deliberate underwear exposure to be banned.

Pokemon's Professor Oak was called Professor Okido in the Japanese version. But the Japanese word for Oak is Ooku, not Okido. This means Game Freak had been lying to Pokemon fans all along. Speaking of falsehoods in the Pokemon franchise, did you know that Ash "Satoshi" Ketchum does not have a surname in the Japanese version? The idea of Ash having the surname Ketchum was actually Nintendo of America's idea when they were localizing Pokemon Red and Blue, as well as the Pokemon TV series.

Remember the times when Magical Girls were portrayed as heroines of justice with attitude? Unfortunately, Puella Magi Madoka Magica ruined everything we love about magical girls. Simply put it, Puella Magi Madoka Magica lied about the promotional material, from the beach scenes that they promised in some posters, but was never featured in the TV series at all, to how they expected us to see magical girls as the heroines of justice who fight for what's right. Well, it turns out the magical girls of Puella Magi Madoka Magica were nothing more than pawns in Kyubey's plans to prevent the heat death of the universe. Therefore, Puella Magi Madoka Magica has always been lying to us, and on top of that even more than Game Freak lying to us about the Pokemon series.

Mario VS Pokemon Mental Gymnastics

Maybe the real reason those who wronged Ash Ketchum were never punished was because Nintendo knows that Ash Ketchum's namesake Satoshi Tajiri was the reason Game Freak almost went bankrupt back in the mid-1990s. Another reason is that Satoshi Tajiri wanted to surpass Shigeru Miyamoto, but that has not come to fruition due to Little Town Hero being a disappointment, and the fact that the Mario series also includes the Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Wario series as well. Therefore, the decision was made to have Ash's journey end with the intellectually disabled illiterate go on one last journey of friendship and co-existence.

Then again, Gary Oak's namesake Shigeru Miyamoto does not hate Waluigi, contrary to popular belief. Miyamoto also allows other Nintendo franchises that's not Pokemon to have crossovers with the Mario series outside of Super Smash Bros. Even Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series was allowed to enter Mario territory. Perhaps this is why Satoshi Tajiri will never be able to surpass Shigeru Miyamoto, because Pokemon licensing is harder to obtain than third-party character licensing, which is why the Mario series can have crossovers with Zelda, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin and even Sonic, but not Pokemon, if you do not count Mario Pikachu, that is.

The True Cost of Black Friday

Author's Note: Once again, the template from We Never Learn has been reused. This time, to send an anti-Black Friday message.

Let's face it. there is nothing great about the massive discount mega-sale that is Black Friday because the real truth about Black Friday is that the term originated from the crash of the U.S. gold market in 1869 and had nothing to do with shopping. Another theory about the term's origins could be from the days when the slave trade was not illegal, when plantation owners could buy slaves at a discount on the day after Thanksgiving, but this theory has no historical evidence, however. Black Friday's most famous origin story traces its origins to Philadelphia in the 1950s to describe the chaos that ensued in the day after Thanksgiving as a result of an Army-Navy football game that took place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year. Nowadays, Black Friday is associated with the huge discount sale taking place on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, there have been stampedes and fights that have resulted in injuries and even deaths.

At the end of the day, if the death of a Walmart employee in 2008 was anything, it's that we should do away with Black Friday altogether before more injuries and deaths occur...

Same Name, Different Number

Author's Note: I created lawyer-friendly versions of Phineas and Ferb's "Doofenshmirtz's Two Nickels" meme and Breaking Bad's "What Are You Talking About?" meme for this comic.

Fun Fact: Denmark preserved two submarines of the Royal Danish Navy bearing the name HDMS Springeren. One was a Delfinen-class submarine with the pennant number S329. The other was a Norwegian-made Tumleren-class submarine with the pennant number S324 and was formerly the Norwegian submarine HNoMS Kya. For those wondering what the Tumleren-class is, it's a subclass of Norway's Kobben-class submarines designated for second-hand export to Denmark. In June 2004, Denmark's Ministry of Defence decided to decommission their submarine flotilla and cease operating submarines altogether. Of Denmark's four remaining submarines at the time the announcement was made, HDMS Tumleren was scrapped while the Swedish-made Näcken-class submarine HDMS Kronborg was returned to Sweden, only to be scrapped in 2016 after another 11 years of serving the Swedish flag. The other two remaining Danish submarines became museum ships after their decommissioning. It just so happens that there was a museum ship named HDMS Springeren when HDMS Springeren (S324) was turned into a museum ship. However, both submarines have different pennant numbers and are from different classes, so there was very little confusion when it comes to distinguishing between the two, if any at all. These two submarines are located in different locations in Denmark a few hundred kilometers away from each other. HDMS Springeren (S329) is located in the Aalborg Maritime Museum while HDMS Springeren (S324) is located in the Langelandsfort Cold War Museum in Bagenkop.

If you happen to visit Denmark, you might want to visit some of their museum ships that once served Denmark from the Cold War years up until 2004.

The Misery of 2023

2023 isn't over, but this depressing year continues to claim more lives, including a prominent pastor by the name of Joseph Chean, who used to be a guest speaker at Pentecost Methodist Church. For those wondering how Joseph Chean perished in Turkey, his cause of death was an automobile accident on the way back to the airport when the taxi he was on board crashed onto another car. This sad news came amid the wars in Israel and Ukraine.

But the deaths are not the only thing to worry about. Internet censorship is getting worse and worse. Content creators and archivists can be censored or banned for just committing minor violations, let alone the "offensive content" isn't offensive at all. Looks like we are approaching the time of the end indeed...

Rejecting Black Friday

Only one more week until Black Friday. Until then, exposing the truth about Black Friday is all that matters...

You know that Black Friday has already lost its luster when there are businesses that shun Black Friday's highly discounted mega-sales altogether. To make matters worse, there was already a history of Black Friday-related injuries and deaths. Think about all the stampedes and fights that have happened during the Black Friday mega-sales of yesteryear. All in all, if you value your finances, health and life, stay out of Black Friday mega-sales altogether.

No Optimism for 2024...

Remember the days when the World Wide Web was the place where you can become an overnight sensation? Well, it still is that place. However, the European Union's Digital Services Act seeks to limit our freedoms, regardless of whether we live inside or outside the European Union. It gets even worse when California, the home of Silicon Valley, was forced to plagiarize EU internet regulations. Even worse still is that Germany is the lead country in the EU, and the only countries that know of Germany's plans to impose its will on the world are Russia and China. And to think rogue nations and militant organizations that threaten the Free World are the bad guys...

If you want to understand why Big Tech is turning on the customers that made them who they are today, keep in mind that the European Union and American leftists are working together to make life miserable for millions of netizens. This in turn will lead to the biggest betrayal, and then a time of tribulation that results in a massive nuclear war...

No wonder some people are sad or disgruntled. A system that is holding Earth captive is at its death throes, and it will take a destructive combination of nuclear war and divine judgement to overthrow it...

More icons of the post-1990s era

Author's Note: All copyrights for the images in this comic go to their respective owners.

While the 1990s was one of the greatest decades of pop culture history, not everything that we have grown up with made their debut in the 1990s or 1980s. RuneScape came out in 2001. Team Fortress 2 was launched in 2007. 2009 saw the release of Angry Birds and League of Legends, with both games soaring in popularity in 2010. We Bare Bears is a Cartoon Network TV series that aired from 2015 to 2019. It was very popular back in those years. Therefore, we can say that not everything that defines nostalgia come from the 1990s and the decades before. But that is not to say we do not miss the days before the year 2000 because we surely miss the days before the year 2020...

Icons of the post-1990s era

Author's Note: All copyrights for the images in this comic go to their respective owners.

There are some pop culture icons that made their debut after the last day of 1999 ended. For example,Waluigi debuted in 2000 with Mario Tennis for the N64. The first Animal Crossing was released in 2001, the same year Microsoft's XBox was launched. The Miis made their debut with the Wii's launch in 2006, and the first Minecraft video on YouTube was uploaded in 2009.

Booster Course Pass Finale

As an old saying goes, all good things come to an end, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass is no exception.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass has finally been concluded, and it ended on a very high note. With that, the Wii U's best selling video game's Redemption Arc finally got the happy ending it deserves after nine years. 2023 looks like the year of conclusions, from the end of Ash "Satoshi" Ketchum's Journey, to the end of Charles Martinet's days as the voice of Mario. Even Mario Kart Tour discontinued new content after the 4th Anniversary Tour, and let's not forget that Tears of the Kingdom could mark the end of a saga that began with Breath of the Wild, and hopefully, Tears of the Kingdom will be the end of Ganon's reign of terror.

Farewell, Mario Kart 8, and thanks for the memories and death stares!

Even more Rare Gems from the Bargain Bin

The Atari 7800 was clearly underappreciated because it was actually the last good Atari console before the infamous Atari Jaguar, and was the best attempt by Atari to win back their customers after the North American Video Game Crash of 1983. Therefore, this underrated console from Atari would be a respectable find from the bargain bin, if they can be found in the bargain bin that is.

Who would have thought the original arcade version of Mortal Kombat would have gotten the Plug & Play treatment? Surely there are some people who would have tried to lay their hands on this piece of video game history if Mortal Kombat was not banned in whichever country they come from...

If you dislike the North American box art for Karnaaj Rally to the point you chose not to pick up a copy of the game, then you have not heard about the European box art for Karnaaj Rally, which was actually good box art design. Karnaaj Rally is actually a decent racing game for the Game Boy Advance. Therefore, ignore the awful box art and go get a copy of Karnaaj Rally from the bargain bin if you regretted your decision to give Karnaaj Rally a miss due to the bad box art.

Another underappreciated console that can be found in the bargain bin as a rare find is the PlayStation Vita. This was a handheld that cost more than the Nintendo 3DS even when these two handhelds had similar battery life. No wonder the 3DS outsold the Vita by a long shot. Gamers are becoming more thrifty as the effects of the 2008 downturn lingers on after 15 years.

PES 2014 was officially confirmed to be the last game released for the PlayStation 2, so you can expect this game to be a rare find in the bargain bin.

Redesigned versions of great consoles often get released near the start of the twilight years, and the original PlayStation was no exception. The PS One was released in 2000, the same year Sony released the Playstation 2. Therefore, expect to find a PS One in the bargain bin, although such an item will be a rarity.

Speaking of bargain bin rarities, Compile's last game, Pochi and Nyaa, is an uncommon PlayStation 2 game that can be found in the bargain bin. But it is not easy to find the PS2 version of Pochi and Nyaa in the Japanese video game store bargain bin because Pochi and Nyaa was Compile's very last game before they closed their doors for good.

More Rare Gems from the Bargain Bin

The Commodore VIC-20 was not as fondly remembered as the Commodore C64, but it definitely deserves some respect for being the precursor to the iconic C64.

Poor Luigi. He just cannot get enough of the injustices Nintendo is doing to him. Just because he is merely a similarity, does not mean you have the right to make him suffer. Then again, it was his fault that the Year of Luigi made Nintendo lose $456 million, which justifies Nintendo's vindictive disdain towards Luigi. And if anybody wants to find a special Wiimote in a bargain bin, you will most likely find Luigi Wiimotes in the bargain bin.

Was it necessary for Nintendo to come up with a Wii Mini? That version of the Wii was disappointing compared to other versions of the Wii. Therefore, finding the Wii Mini inside a bargain bin would be justifiable.

As if Luigi wasn't the only person Nintendo likes to mistreat, his purple arch-rival Waluigi is being mistreated by Nintendo even more than the green guy. If you are looking for Super Mario series T-shirts in the bargain bin, expect to find mostly Luigi or Waluigi T-shirts.

Normally, Data East games wouldn't end up in the bargain bin, but unlike SNK Arcade Classics, Data East Arcade Classics isn't as fondly remembered, but we should delve deeper into the history of Data East. It will help G-Mode, and perhaps Paon DP, reawaken nostalgia for Data East franchises, many of which have been dormant since Data East's demise.

Apparently, the 3rd edition of the Sega Genesis should have more respect since it was a Sega console that was on the market during the time period between the discontinuation of the Sega Saturn in North America and the North American release of the Sega Dreamcast. Basically the 3rd edition Sega Genesis was the stop-gap solution Sega's North American operations desperately needed but it was one that was sidelined by the Sega executives amid the Sega Saturn's shortcomings and the imminent launch of the Sega Dreamcast.

Rare Gems from the Bargain Bin

Author's Note: All copyrights for the items featured in this comic go to their respective owners.

While Dragon's Lair was ported to multiple platforms, it was also available as an interactive game for the DVD Player. Yet, almost nobody who owns a DVD Player bothers to get the game, which would make this item a good find if you can find one in a bargain bin, that is.

The Su Chi Pai OVA was originally below average at best when it first came out, but the passage of time has its way of vindicating history, by having Jaleco fans search for a DVD copy of the Su Chi Pai OVA. The Tekken Motion Picture from 1998 was actually good, and it was better than the live action Tekken Movie. And for those who are looking for DVDs of both OVAs, you might find them as rare items in a bargain bin.

Recently, Wii Party and Wii Party U have been getting a nostalgic resurgence through multiple videos posted on YouTube. The Wii Party series was not destined to be the next Mario Party, but it was better than Mario Party in several ways almost no one took note of. It's a huge shame that Wii Party's lifetime sales are less than Nintendo Switch Sports sales figures as at May 2023. Wii Party U's sales figures ended up doing worse than Wii Music, which was a huge shame. No wonder Nintendo started relegating Miis to the sidelines. Maybe they should stop disrespecting their loyal customers if they want to survive...

If you think Soldam was an Arcade exclusive title, then you have not heard of the Game Boy port of Soldam. This Game Boy game would be very hard to find inside the bargain bin, and even if you find one copy, it would be a very expensive item, even if its price tag has a 90% discount on it.

F-Zero GP Legend has to be the last F-Zero game in the series before F-Zero 99, if you do not count the Japan-only F-Zero Climax. Of course the Game Boy Advance F-Zero GP Legend is a game worth getting for any GameCube owner who still has the GameCube's Game Boy Player.

Volvo B10M The Ol' Reliable

Can you imagine that SBS Transit has been part of Singapore's roads for 50 years? Well, the Volvo B10M was a part of SBS Transit's bus fleet for over 30 years, meaning they have been the "Ol' Reliable" for more than half of the 50 years SBS Transit has been moving commuters on Singapore's roads. If that's not incredible, then which part of Singapore's public transport history is?

Google Priorities 2

I miss the days when Google was just your friendly neighbourhood search engine. Back in the mid-2000s, Google wasn't obsessed with promoting leftist agendas, unlike now. Back then, customer satisfaction was one of Google's top priorities. But now, the leftists are running Silicon Valley, and they do not prioritize customer satisfaction. It's very depressing to see the search engine we grew up with turn on the very same customers that made them what they are Today. Not even convincing them to go back to being the friendly neighbourhood search engine that had customer satisfaction as their top priority will succeed...

Google Priorities

There used to be a time when Google was your friendly neighbourhood search engine. But all that changed when the leftists took over Silicon Valley and discarded Google's "Don't be evil" motto. Now we need to more than ever before, convince Google to cease their crackdown on their customers and put customer satisfaction as their top priority, and the first thing they need to do is to purge their leftist employees and managers first. Unfortunately, Google will not listen to their customers because their top management is already being run by leftists. Therefore, a massive purge of leftists will not be possible, unless a catastrophic World War happens. But we wouldn't want that option because it would result in tohu and bohu levels of extinction...

MSX 40th Anniversary

Author's Note: The MSX going for another 40 years would be too unrealistic. Instead, the more realistic goal would be the 50th Anniversary of the MSX computer.

Today marks 40 years to the day the MSX computer launched in Japan. The MSX was the computer that laid the foundations for the transformation of Sony into the grandmaster of the video game industry we know today. Simply put it, before MSX, Sony had the SMC series of computers, which were all but unsuccessful. Once Sony started manufacturing MSX computers, Sony ended up having the lion's share of MSX computer sales when production ended. This resulted in the MSX being associated with Sony, which in turn, propelled Sony to enter the video game industry with their PlayStation, and the rest is history.

Snubbing Nintendo's Injustices

Forget about the Super Mario Bros Wonder ROM files leak potentially triggering anti-piracy lawsuits or selected YouTube videos posted by Nintendo going private. Nintendo's disdain towards Ash Ketchum because of his possible Zainichi Korean ancestry is the biggest reason we should cease buying Nintendo's products in protest against them treating their customers like dirt.

Nintendo's grievances against their loyal customers extends to more than just going ballistic over intellectual property piracy. What if it turns out that Ash Ketchum was actually from a minority group that is often vilified by Japanese society, but was the legacy of Japanese imperialism? If you say Ash was a Zainichi Korean, you could possibly be correct. Zainichi Koreans were often called dirty, smelly and stupid, and are often subjected to getting bullied and humiliated in many ways possible, but almost nobody stands up for them because they have been sympathizing with leftists, including communist regimes that want to take over the world. This results in many Zainichi Koreans become mentally ill, and nobody treats this as a serious issue.

All in all, we should save our savings by not buying Super Mario Bros Wonder or the next Nintendo console that comes after the Nintendo Switch.

Bikini Swimies

Given that bikini bottoms are basically panties designed for swimming, it would make sense for bikini bottoms to be called swimies.

As for the wet panties waterfall meme, it would not be triggered by talking about two-piece swimwear bottoms looking like panties that are designed for swimming.

Madou Monogatari Reunion

It finally happened. The original Madou Monogatari series that Sega's Puyo Puyo originated from has gotten a new entry 25 years after the launch of the Sega Saturn Madou Monogatari, which happens to be published by Sega. All of this would not have been possible if not for Compile Heart, D4 Enterprises and Sega agreeing to come together to revive Madou Monogatari.

All we have to say about this is "Welcome Back, Arle."

When Arrogant Jerks Denounced Leftism...

Throughout history, there were instances when the nobility and the aristocracy were arrogant jerks. Even when the nobility and the aristocracy no longer exist but their modern descendants are also arrogant jerks, there is no legitimate reason for class struggle against them because class struggle was always part of a bigger communist plot to overthrow the morals that guide humanity on the right path for thousands of years.

Back when Pokemon Red and Blue first came out on the Game Boy, you could humiliate leftists and get away with it. Unfortunately for the humiliators, their descendants have embraced the leftist ideology that their parents opposed. In fact, any attempt to humiliate leftists now can get you locked up in prison. Even worse still is that any attempt to humiliate leftists were being greeted with angry responses from the leftists, including death threats being sent against the humiliators as far back as 2015. Not even an arrogant jerk like Donald Trump could rein in the leftists, which was why he lost his presidency in 2020. However, those who are for him are very determined to bring about his return so that humiliating the leftists will not result in a prison sentence.

Then again, Pokemon's country of origin, Japan, was already witnessing a sharp decline in leftism at the time of Pokemon Red and Blue's release in 1996. Maybe that's why Game Freak did not give Gary "Shigeru" Oak any severe punishment for all the wrongs he did to Ash "Satoshi" Ketchum by the time Ash's Journey ended. Aside from giving Gary Oak a brutal comeuppance possibly being a Colossal Titan-sized insult to Shigeru Miyamoto, punishing anybody who humiliates leftists for representing an atheistic movement that thinks there is nothing wrong with having a mentally ill, intellectually disabled person as the leader of any country has no justification. Mentally ill, intellectually disabled people should not even have positions of power, or even become video game, manga or anime protagonists. Unfortunately, the leftists love to have mentally ill illiterates as protagonists because such people would make good puppets for the leftists, especially when mentally ill illiterates becoming presidents or prime ministers are easier for the leftists to manipulate.

Perhaps we should start admitting that socialism was not a noble cause from the beginning because God does not like atheistic ideologies.

Maniacs VS Skimpy Swimwear

The summer of 2023 will be remembered as a bummer vacation, especially in Europe. Public swimming pools have become a hot topic in Germany, in which some have shut down while others seek police protection because of attacks by maniacs from Middle Eastern countries, particularly on girls in revealing swimsuits similar to the skimpy attire worn by Arabian Moon from Irem's Superior Soldiers. If these ultraconservative maniacs continue with their attacks at this rate of ferocity, expect a rivalry from Daniel 11 to reach its bloody conclusion. With all that said, we are really living in the last days of this dark age of man's rule over man...

Anniversary Day Confusion

Author's Note: Today marks the 90th Anniversary of Air France commencing operations. Although Air France was established on the 30th of August, 1933, the airline only began operations on 7th of October, 1933. Since then, Air France has gone through a long history, including supersonic air travel and being one of the co-founders of SkyTeam.

Given that I went to Paris, France, I noticed that France's national airline is celebrating 90 years of elegance. So I decided to dedicate this comic to the 90th Anniversary of Air France.

Happy 90th Anniversary, Air France! Here's to reaching that prestigious 100th Anniversary in 2033!

When Court Martial is better than Obliteration...

Author's Note: Today marks 50 years to the day the infamous Yom Kippur War began. While Israel received the nastiest surprise attack in the history of their armed forces, the Arab armies that attacked Israel will receive one of the most humiliating defeats in the history of their armed forces.

Yom Kippur is one of the holiest of the Israeli holy days, and to launch a surprise attack on that day sounds like a genius plan on paper, until you realized that a surprise attack on an enemy's holy day was a sacrilegious war crime that would end up awakening a huge hand. For the Syrian general who met that huge hand, he and his troops had no choice but to turn back to Syria and face possible court martial, or get obliterated if he didn't turn back. Basically, the Syrian general and the troops that he led were basically facing Master Hand 26 years before Super Smash Bros came out on the N64, and was humiliated because he chose to die by being court-martialled and getting sentenced to death for failing to conquer Jerusalem and burning it down instead of choosing to get obliterated. Basically, nobody wants to get obliterated, no matter how vile you are.

If we had to make difficult choices, getting court-martialled and receiving a death sentence as a result beats getting obliterated by Master Hand any day.

Nothing Great About Wet Lingerie

Author's Note: This comic's template comes from the Anime series We Never Learn.

Lingerie was not meant for getting wet because they get soaking wet faster than two-piece female swimwear. This means that forehead coin to funnel sounds like a great way to make a panties wet, but then the one wearing the panties that got wet will have to change her panties. Perhaps that's why bikinis were conceived. They were designed for getting wet unlike lingerie.

Too Horrific For Smash

Credits to SrGrafo for providing the template for this comic.

There's always a valid reason non-video game characters should not be in the Super Smash Bros series (Aside from the series being a celebration of video game history). Puella Magi Madoka Magica is clearly not suitable for Nintendo territory because of all the brutality found in the twelve episodes of the anime series. But if that was not enough, Sailor Moon was marketed as one of those stereotypical magical girl anime shows, when in reality, it is far darker than you think. Sailor Moon contains levels of incest worse than Fire Emblem, grotesque villains so ugly they could give Eldritch Abomination-type Final Fantasy villains such as Jenova and Ultimecia a good run for their money, and let's not talk about Sailor Galaxia, because she came close to ending all life in the universe, and she came a lot closer to achieving that than any Dragon Ball Z villain. With that said, Masahiro Sakurai has good reasons to be adamant with his decisions, and it's for the good of everyone.

End of a Grand Tour

As an old saying goes, all good things come to an end, and Mario Kart Tour will cease adding new content after the 2023 edition of Battle Tour. But this does not mean Mario Kart Tour is going end of service like Dr Mario World or Dragalia Lost. It just means after 2023's Battle Tour, all future tours will be reruns of past tours just like how after the Riding into Battle! Online Tourney, all future Super Smash Bros Ultimate Events are reruns of past events, with the Street Fighter 35th Anniversary Spirit Board Event being the only exception.

Having covered fourteen cities in the real world, in addition to introducing a few new tracks, it's time Mario Kart Tour wind down on new content because Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass is also approaching the end of the road, with Wave 6 being the final wave. Besides, we already got the Mii Racing Suits that we have often wished for, such as the Daisy and Waluigi Mii Racing Suits that did not appear in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Even Mii Racing Suits based on the Koopalings have been introduced in Mario Kart Tour. Perhaps it is time to wind down on getting on board the hype trains once new content is discontinued.

P.S. It turns out that the 2023 Battle Tour is actually where the reruns of past tours will begin.

Update: Wave 6 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass finally came out on the 9th of November, 2023, and it is a spectacular way to end a massive DLC Pack. Several of the Mii Racing Suits from Mario Kart Tour are now in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, including the Daisy Mii Racing Suit.
