As we grow older, we need to ask this question: Are birthdays losing their meaning?
If there was any legitimate reason for us not to keep birthdays, it has to be due to the deaths of Pharaoh's chief baker and John the Baptist happening on someone's birthday as recorded by the Bible. Both deaths were horrific. But if that wasn't enough, maybe copyright issues concerning one of the most famous birthday songs will be the reason. Still not convinced? Imagine one of your guests at your birthday party telling you that you are one year closer to your death. That will make you want to not remember birthdays anymore...
