Bowser Gets Boycotted

Author's Note: This particular image where Bowser is facing a boycott is an actual image from the Mario Quiz Cards that were published from 1995 to 1997.

Nintendo, your cease and desists have once again provoked another boycott. And it's not just Doug Bowser who has to face the boycotts. A management policy that was updated when the late Satoru Iwata was in charge means that Doug Bowser currently answers to Shuntaro Furukawa, meaning Furukawa should also get the blame as well.

But then again, Nintendo's litigations against intellectual property piracy are due to Japan's anti-terrorism law classifying copyright infringement as an act of domestic terrorism, as well as the European Union Copyright Directive dictating that even copyright holders from countries that are not part of the European Union must comply with European Union copyright regulations if they are doing business in EU member states. This means boycotting may not be as effective as long as the "Great Mart of Nations" dictates the rules, for it will besiege any nation that rejects them.
